Pocket Infrared Thermometers

Keep these small thermometers in your pocket or toolkit to spot check the temperature of dangerous, hard-to-reach, and moving surfaces without touching them. Maximum working distance is the distance a one foot target can be reliably measured.
Thermometers with adjustable emissivity can be calibrated for more accurate readings of shiny surfaces than thermometers with fixed emissivity.
Thermometers with laser sight have a red beam of light to indicate the precise area being measured.
Warning: These infrared thermometers are not intended for medical use.

Noncontact Temperature Sensors for Tanks
Take your tank’s internal temperature with these sensors that sit on the outside walls. Since they don’t touch your tank’s contents, they won’t cause contamination or corrode. To attach the sensor to your tank, weld the included studs to your tank's walls, or stick them on your tank using adhesive. Either way you mount them, you don’t need to drill or drain your tank, saving you from scheduled downtime.
These sensors are preconfigured for stainless steel tanks with 1/8"-thick walls. They have internal sensors to record the tank’s thermal conductivity, which is used to calculate your tank's internal temperature. The information is sent through a 4-20 mA signal, so you can read the temperature on controllers and data loggers.
Use communication cords (sold separately) to calibrate these sensors on your computer when your tank isn’t the default thickness or material. Download free software and material presets to help you calibrate the sensor. If you know your tank’s thermal conductivity, you can add another material. The software also lets you monitor and log temperature.

Clamp-On Noncontact Temperature Sensors for Pipe

Check the inside temperature of your pipe from the outside. A good choice for when contamination is a concern, these sensors don’t touch what’s inside your line. They sit on the outside, so they won’t corrode, gunk up, or break from your line's flow. A clamp makes them quick to attach and easy to reposition—there’s no need to drill into your pipe or drain your line. They have internal sensors to record the pipe’s thermal conductivity, which is used to calculate your line’s temperature. The information is sent through a 4-20 mA signal, so you can read the temperature on controllers and data loggers.
Sensors for metal pipe are preconfigured for Schedule 40 stainless steel pipe. They won’t work with plastic pipe.
Sensors for plastic pipe are preconfigured for Schedule 40 PVC pipe. They won’t work with metal pipe.
