Use it to protect short, straight runs of wire and cable. To run wire and cable into and out of raceway, drill holes and pull it through.

Raceway that includes a bonding stud and grounding stud have added protection against static electricity. Use the bonding stud to prevent static sparking by connecting the raceway to other equipment. Use the grounding stud to draw static away from the raceway via a grounding path. This reduces the risk of fires and shocks due to a short circuit.
