Precision Wire End Cutters
Make accurate, flush cuts through small wire with these tweezer-style cutters. The smallest of our wire end cutters, they cut close to the surface with such high precision that they’re often used by jewelers to make watch repairs.
Steel cutters are harder than stainless steel ones, so the tips stay sharp longer. However, steel is more likely to corrode in wet environments than stainless steel.
Stainless steel cutters are corrosion resistant for use in damp or humid environments. Cutters with a tungsten carbide tip stay sharp longer than any other precision wire end cutters. However, the tip is brittle and can chip from accidental impact.
Diamond-coated steel cutters snip through the hardest metals and stay sharp longer than uncoated steel or stainless steel cutters. They’re also more corrosion resistant than either and are chemically inert.
Cutters with 3/16 in. tips won’t block your view of your wire, helping you make an accurate cut. They’re often used under microscopes or in other small spaces.

Corrosion-Resistant Static-Control Wire End Cutters
Made of stainless steel, these cutters won’t rust even when stored in damp environments. The grips drain static away from the blades to prevent damage to sensitive equipment from electrostatic discharge (ESD). Also known as nippers, these cutters have wide, flat jaws that make flush cuts, so you don’t nick anything beneath your wire. The spring-assisted jaws open automatically when you release the handles.

Static-Control Wire End Cutters
Snip wire close against circuit boards and other electronic components without building up electrostatic discharge (ESD). These cutters have grips that drain static away from the blades to prevent damage to sensitive equipment. Also known as nippers, they have wide, flat jaws that make flush cuts, so you don’t nick anything beneath your wire. The box-joint design helps them maintain their jaw alignment, even after frequent use. A spring opens the jaws for quick cutting. Precision Static-Control Wire End Cutters
Shaped like tweezers, these cutters make accurate, flush cuts in small wire without damaging the surface underneath. The grips drain static away from the tips, protecting sensitive components from electrostatic discharge (ESD). These end cutters are often used to trim excess wire leads after soldering electronic components onto circuit boards.
Cutters with tungsten carbide tips cut through the hardest metal and stay sharp longer than cutters with steel tips. These cutters have stainless steel handles to resist rusting in damp or humid environments.
Cutters with 9/32” lg. tips are short and rounded at the end to give you the best view of your wire. They’re often used under microscopes or in other small spaces.
Cutters with rubber grips are cushioned for a comfortable hold.

Multitools with Slide-Out Spring-Action Pliers
To limit hand fatigue, these multitools have pliers that spring open when you release the handles. Open them by pressing the lock buttons on both sides and sliding the pliers out without squeezing the handles together. These multitools also have a screwdriver that folds out to the center, so you can hold it like a standard screwdriver. This makes it easier to turn for more torque than other multitool drivers. Made of stainless steel, these multitools resist corrosion.

Nail Hammers
Drive nails with the flat, steel face and remove them with the claw on the other end of the head.
Curved-claw hammers provide high leverage for nail removal. Straight-claw hammers are also known as framing hammers. They're a good choice for ripping and prying wood in addition to nail removal, but they do not remove nails as efficiently as curved-claw hammers.
Dead blow nail hammers have a head loaded with metal shot for a controlled impact and minimal rebound. The handle is lightweight to provide a fast swing while driving nails.
Serrated face prevents the head from slipping when striking.
Hickory handles resist vibration. Steel and aluminum handles are stronger than hickory handles but have less vibration resistance. Fiberglass handles combine the strength of steel with the vibration resistance of wood. Polycarbonate handles with graphite core resist breakage if you miss your mark.
Textured and ribbed grips provide slip resistance.
Hammers with a magnetic nail starter hold nails in position at the top of the head, so a free hand is not needed to steady the nail before striking it. Hammers with a nail pulling groove can remove nails in tighter spaces than claws. Hammers with a board grip hold 2" thick boards.
For replacement handles, see Hickory Hammer Handles.
