Mitutoyo Electronic Micrometer Heads
For easier reading than other micrometer heads, these show measurements on an LCD. Mount them in jigs, fixtures, machine tools, movable tables, and other equipment that require precise adjustments. They are held in place by the cylindrical mounting hub using your existing brackets or fixtures. Spindle length is the maximum extended distance when the micrometer head is set at zero.
Zero-position memory, also known as absolute (ABS) positioning, retains the measuring position when the micrometer is turned off. A zero-set button lets you start measuring at any point. SPC data output allows for connection to a computer or data processor.
Ratchet-stop thimbles have a constant-force mechanism to ensure repeatable measurements without relying on operator feel. They also have a speeder knob to reduce the time it takes to move the spindle. Once the spindle contacts the surface of the measured object, it will stop tightening, but the speeder knob will continue turning with a clicking sound.
Round spindle tips minimize errors from misalignment, so they’re often used as feed devices.
Clamp nuts securely hold the micrometer head and provide extra support.
USB data cable (sold separately) connects the micrometer head directly to your PC.
10-pin data cables (sold separately) connect the micrometer to a Mitutoyo miniprocessor or multiplexer.
Wireless data transmitter and receiver (sold separately) allow you to transmit measurement data from the micrometer to your PC without being tethered by a cable.

Mitutoyo Electronic Micrometer Heads with Calibration Certificate
These micrometer heads come with a calibration certificate traceable to NIST that states they've passed a test for accuracy. They are held in place by the cylindrical mounting hub using your existing brackets or fixtures. Spindle length is the maximum extended distance when the micrometer head is set at zero.
