Distance-Measuring Wheels
Roll these wheels along a surface to measure long distances. Choose a wheel diameter of 11.5” or larger for uneven surfaces. Wheels with an analog display don't rely on a power source to count, so they won't lose power while you're measuring. However, you can't change the display to different units of measure. Those with a display on the wheel keep both the wheel and counter in your line of sight, so you can guide and stop the wheel for an accurate measurement. Steel wheels are the most durable wheels in our offering, so they stand up to rough terrain. Their added weight gives them stability, so they’re good at staying accurate on uneven surfaces. Plastic wheels are lightweight and work best on smooth, hard surfaces.
Wheels with a telescoping handle let you change the length of the handle. When set to shorter lengths, you can use them on elevated surfaces such as countertops. Wheels with a folding handle can be folded up for portability and storage in small spaces.
