Magnetic Rod Filters
These filters are designed without guide rods to prevent wet and sticky material from blocking flow. Use to pull ferrous metal scrap and particles out of your process line. Mount filters inside gravity hoppers, chutes, drawers, housings, and surge-and-catch bins. Magnets are sealed in the magnetic rod.
Filters with a maximum magnetic pull of 1 lb. catch nails, bolts, washers, staples, and other large iron metal objects.
Filters with a maximum magnetic pull of 11.2 lbs. catch metal filings, shavings, residue from metal wear, and other small particles.

Sanitary Magnetic Rod Filters
Easy to keep clean thanks to their design, these filters pull metal and magnetic particles out of food and sanitary material as it passes through gravity hoppers, chutes, and other parts of your process line. This helps you comply with Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) programs for food safety. Made entirely of 316 stainless steel, these filters won’t break down from washdowns with harsh cleaners found in food plants. They’re also polished and have smooth welded seams, so they’re free of crevices where bacteria could grow, reducing the risk of illness.
Magnets are sealed inside the rods.

Sanitary Magnetic Strainers
- For Use With: Beverage, Dairy, Food, Salt Solutions, Sodium Nitrate, Water
- Max. Pressure: 150 psi @ 225° F
- Temp. Range: -20° to 225° F
Draw metal shavings and other contaminants out of your sanitary liquid line with these strainers. As liquid swirls through the strainer cavity, magnets sealed inside capture any metal bits. Remaining impurities are separated out with gravity and trapped in a collection sump. Empty the strainers by removing the lid and scooping up the collected particles at the bottom of the enclosure. These strainers have quick-clamp connections, so they’re good for frequent deep cleans and line changes. Also known as tri-clamp fittings, they connect with a gasket, a clamp, and another quick-clamp fitting for quick removal and assembly.
These strainers are 316 stainless steel, which won’t corrode from frequent washdowns with harsh cleaners. The continuous weld seams and polished surfaces are free of pits and crevices where bacteria could grow, making them easy to sanitize. Rated for high temperatures, you can keep these strainers on your line during a heated clean-in-place (CIP) process. All strainers and their included gasket are FDA compliant, meaning they are safe for food contact.
Filters that are USDA certified meet the highest standards of sanitary design.

Magnetic Sheet Metal Separators
Separate stacked steel sheets without prying, scratching, or bending them. These separators have a magnet which causes your stacked sheets to fan out. When you remove the top sheet, the next sheet automatically moves up. Separators have two nonmagnetic bars to keep plates moving freely.
Note: The number of separators required is approximate and you may need to add more separators.

Magnetic Pulleys for Conveyor Belts
Separate ferrous and nonferrous material in your line. These pulleys are often used to keep metal scraps from contaminating production lines, or for sorting applications such as recycling. As material moves over the pulley, a magnet tugs ferrous pieces against the belt. Nonferrous material flows over the end of the conveyor, but ferrous pieces travel around the curve and under the conveyor. Once the belt moves past the pulley’s magnetic field, those pieces will fall. Install as either the head or tail pulley.
