Mount these pumps in any position, even upside down. Pumps have a subfractional horsepower motor rated for intermittent use (return to room temperature before restarting). Also known as diaphragm pumps, they are for use in low-flow spraying, draining, and washdown applications. They are self-priming, which means they create a suction force to draw liquid upward. Pumps can run dry and do not require an initial fill, so they’re a good choice for applications without a constant flow of liquid. Do not use with solids.

Battery-operated pumps operate on a 12-volt battery. They are commonly used with agricultural sprayers and washers.

Pumps with a pressure switch automatically shut off the pump at the maximum pressure.

High-Pressure Constant-Flow-Rate Pumps

Commonly called rotary vane pumps, these are designed to pump water at high pressures in low-flow applications. Motor is open dripproof (ODP) for use in clean, dry, and well-ventilated environments. They have a built-in bypass relief valve to prevent pressure buildup. Pumps are gravity fed and require an elevated liquid source to fully fill the pump before turning on.
