Tight-Hold Hex-Drive Cam Locks
Also known as compression cam locks, these locks create a tighter hold than a traditional cam lock, making them useful for doors that have a seal. Turn the head a quarter turn to lock, then turn it another quarter turn to create compression and minimize rattling from vibration. Since they lock with a hex key, these locks are great if you want to secure an enclosure with a simple keying system.
Locks with a fixed latching distance are best when you know the precise distance you need. Since you won’t have to adjust the cam into position, these are faster to install than those with an adjustable latching distance. All include multiple cams, so you can change the fixed latching distance.
Locks with an adjustable latching distance handle a wide range of latching distances, so they’re best for tasks when precise distances are unknown. Adjust the position of the cam before you begin to install them. They project further into the enclosure than those with a fixed latching distance.
Stainless steel locks are more corrosion resistant than zinc and aluminum locks. They won’t rust in areas that are constantly exposed to moisture. Although less corrosion resistant than stainless steel, aluminum locks resist rusting better than zinc locks. They’re also the lightest in weight.
For locks with mounting holes, the installation hole can be made with a round hole instead of the irregularly shaped standard cam hole. This is especially helpful if the material of the door is difficult to cut or part of an existing structure. Push the lock into your through hole and secure it with fasteners so it won’t rotate as you turn the head.
IP or NEMA rated locks have a gasket that helps keep low-pressure washdowns and dust from entering through the lock. This helps you maintain your sealed enclosure's IP or NEMA rating.

Hex-Drive Cam Locks
For a simplified keying system, these cam locks open with a hex key (not included).
Locks with a fixed latching distance are best when you know the precise distance you need. Since you won’t have to adjust the cam into position, they’re faster to install than locks with an adjustable latching distance. Those with offset or roller cams come with multiple cams to accommodate different latching distances.
Locks with an adjustable latching distance handle a wide range of latching distances, so they’re best for tasks when precise distances are unknown. Adjust the position of the cam before installing. They project further into the enclosure than those with a fixed latching distance.
Locks with a roller or protected cam rotate more smoothly than those with other straight and offset cams, making them easier to open and close. The cam won't scrape paint or metal chips off the frame that can damage items in the enclosure. The roller cam also compresses a bit to help minimize rattling from vibration.
Locks with a curved cam push closed without a tool or key. When pushed, the curved design lets the cam pivot slightly around the strike plate, securing the lock. To open them, turn the latch—the cam springs back so it's ready to be pushed closed again.
Stainless steel and plastic locks resist corrosion better than zinc locks. Plastic locks are the lightest in weight and do not conduct electricity. However, they’re easier to drill into and tamper with compared to metal locks.
Style B have a low profile, so they won’t catch on anything that passes by.
Locks with a pull tab give you a spot to grab to easily open doors and panels.
IP or NEMA rated locks have a gasket that keeps dust and water from getting in through the lock. IP65 rated locks seal out water from low-pressure washdowns.
EN 45545 rated locks meet flammability standards.

High-Pressure Washdown Hex-Drive Cam Locks
A gasket stops water from getting past these locks during high-pressure, high-temperature washdowns common in food processing plants. This helps you maintain a sealed enclosure's IP rating. Also known as quarter-turn locks, these locks rotate a cam 90° to secure your door or drawer. They lock with a hex key, so they’re great if you don’t want to keep a complicated keying system. Made of stainless steel, they resist corrosion, even when exposed to constant moisture. These locks come with multiple cams to accommodate different latching distances.

Open-Indicating Tight-Hold Hex-Drive Cam Locks
Spot when these locks are open with just a glance—a red indicator shows they're unlocked. Also known as compression cam locks, their cam seals more tightly against a door or drawer than a standard cam to reduce rattling from vibration. Using a hex key (sold separately), turn the head a quarter-turn to lock, then another quarter-turn to draw the cam firmly against your surface. Since they lock with a hex key, they’re great if you want a simple keying system. All come with multiple cams to accommodate different latching distances.
To help maintain a sealed enclosure's IP and NEMA rating, these locks have a gasket that stops water and dust from getting past the lock. Made of stainless steel, these locks resist corrosion, even in environments with constant moisture.
Locks with a fixed latching distance are best when you know the precise distance you need. Since you won’t have to adjust the cam into position, these are faster to install than those with an adjustable latching distance.
Locks with an adjustable latching distance are best for installations when precise latching distances are unknown. Adjust the position of the cam before you begin to install them. They project further into the enclosure than those with a fixed distance.

Miniature Tight-Hold Hex-Drive Cam Locks
Install these locks in smaller-than-standard-diameter through holes on cabinet doors and file drawers. Also known as compression cam locks, they create a tighter hold than standard cam locks in high-vibration environments. Turn the head 90° to lock, then turn it another 90° to draw the cam firmly against your enclosure. The second turn results in a tighter hold, which is ideal for enclosures with a seal and reduces rattling from vibration.
These locks open with a hex key (sold separately), so they’re great for a facility where you don’t want to keep a complicated keying system. They have an adjustable latching distance to handle a wide range of latching distances, so they’re best for spots where precise distances are unknown. Adjust the position of the cam before installing them. They project further into the enclosure than those with a fixed latching distance.
Locks with a screw cam allow you to easily adjust the latching distance and tension over time.
Stainless steel locks resist corrosion when exposed to constant moisture.
IP65 and NEMA 4 locks have a gasket that blocks water, dust, and dirt from getting into a sealed enclosure through the lock, helping you maintain both ratings on your enclosure.
Pull tabs (sold separately) make opening your door or panel easier.
Sealing covers (sold separately) keep water and dust from getting inside the lock cylinder.

Vibration-Resistant Hex-Drive Cam Locks
Get the vibration resistance of a tight-hold lock with the simple operation of a quarter-turn lock. These locks have a spring-loaded bushing that stops your door from vibrating open. However, they don’t close as tightly as tight-hold locks. When the lock isn’t fully closed, the bushing stays depressed to signal it’s not secure. These locks open with a female hex key (sold separately), so they match a keying system that’s common for industrial enclosures and other machinery but are more secure than locks that open with a male hex key or screwdriver. Their flat, concealed design also stops others from tampering with them using pliers.
These locks include a gasket that prevents water, dust, and dirt from getting into your enclosure through the lock. This helps you maintain the IP65 and NEMA 4 ratings of your sealed enclosure. To accommodate different latching distances, they come with multiple cams.

Electronic Status-Indicating Hex-Drive Cam Locks
Trigger a light, alarm, or other device to signal your door is unlocked. These locks have a magnet on the cam that is detected by a sensor (required, sold separately). When you unlock the door, the magnet moves out of the sensing range, activating a switch that turns your device on or off. Lock the door to reset the switch. When choosing a lock, consider the magnet location that works best for your setup. Install your sensor next to the side of the cam where the magnet is located. You cannot use these locks near existing magnetic fields, since they could interfere with the sensor.
These locks open with a hex key (not included) for a simple keying system. Also known as quarter-turn locks, they have a cam that rotates 90° to close enclosure doors. You can adjust the cam’s latching distance, so these locks are best for jobs when precise distances are unknown. Adjust the position of the cam before installing.
A gasket stops dust and water from getting into your sealed enclosure through the lock. This helps you maintain the enclosure’s IP65 and NEMA 4 ratings.
Single pole, double throw (SPDT) sensors can be set to turn a device from off to on (normally open) or from on to off (normally closed).
Sensors with a light illuminate when the latch is open, so you can see the inside of your enclosure when you swing open the door.

L-Handle Hex-Drive Cam Locks
A hex key (not included) opens and closes these cam locks, simplifying your keying system. Also known as quarter-turn locks, they have a cam that rotates 90° to lock cabinet doors and other enclosures. A gasket prevents water, dust, and dirt from getting into the enclosure through the lock. This helps you maintain your sealed enclosure’s IP65 and NEMA 4 ratings.
These locks come with three cams, so you can choose between three different latching distances. Each individual cam has a fixed latching distance. Since you won’t have to adjust the cams into position, these locks are faster to install than those that have cams with an adjustable latching distance. Locks with a roller cam rotate more smoothly than those with straight and offset cams, making them easier to open and close. The cam won’t scratch or flake enclosure surfaces to protect electronics inside from paint or metal chips.

Tight-Hold Hex-Drive Recessed T-Handle Cam Locks
When not in use, fold the handle into the recess to keep it out of the way. It lays flat so you won’t bump into these locks or catch clothes on them. The locks project further into enclosures than other locks without a recess. To open them, pull the handle with your fingers. Turn the head a quarter turn to lock, then push the handle down into the recess to create compression and minimize rattling from vibration.
Also known as compression cam locks, these locks create a tighter hold than traditional cam locks, making them useful for doors that have a seal. They open with a hex key and are great if you want to secure an enclosure with a simple keying system. Made of stainless steel, the locks won’t rust in areas that are constantly exposed to moisture.
These locks include a cam with an adjustable latching distance. They handle a wide range of latching distances, so they’re best for tasks when precise distances are unknown. Adjust the position of the cam before you begin to install them. The lock installation hole can be made with a round hole instead of the irregularly shaped standard cam hole. This is especially helpful if the material of the door is difficult to cut or part of an existing structure.

Washdown Push-Button Tight-Hold Paddle-Handle Hex-Drive Lever Cam Locks
To help maintain a sealed enclosure's IP65 and NEMA 4 rating, these locks have a gasket that prevents water from getting past the lock during low-pressure washdowns. They also help keep out dust, dirt, and precipitation. Press the button to pop the handle out; push the handle shut for a secure hold. Since they lock with a hex key, these locks are great if you want to secure an enclosure with a simple keying system. When you shut the handle, a lever raises to press your door or drawer closed with an attached screw. Also known as compression cam locks, their lever creates a tighter seal than a rotating cam, so they're better at reducing rattling from vibration. Turn the screw on the lever to adjust the latching distance and tension over time. These locks have a flush design and their handle folds into a recessed position, so they stay out of the way. However, they might extend further into your enclosure than locks with a standard profile.
Locks with a color-revealing indicator let you quickly see if they’ve been opened. When the lock has been opened, the indicator turns red. These work great if you have many cabinets that need to be restocked throughout the day, so others know right away if the cabinet has been opened. Use a special indicator reset key (sold separately) to change the indicator from red to green.

Swing-Handle Hex-Drive Padlockable Cam Locks
Open and close these locks with a hex key (not included) for an uncomplicated keying system. Often installed on server cabinets and electrical panels, they have a handle that swings smoothly when you lift it to latch and unlatch the door. The handle lies flat when locked, which means it won’t snag anything passing by. Add a padlock for extra security.
Also known as quarter-turn locks, these locks have a cam that rotates 90° as you swing the handle. They come with multiple cams, so you can change their fixed latching distance. An O-ring stops dust and water from getting into your sealed enclosure through the lock. This helps you maintain the enclosure’s IP65 rating.
