T-Slotted Framing Pivots
Pivots provide smooth motion at the junction between two T-slotted rails.
Heavy duty pivots have bearings for a longer life than standard pivots.
Inline/perpendicular pivots provide versatile mounting options. For perpendicular mounting, snap the tabs of the bottom of the pivot with a slotted screwdriver. To install on the end of the rail, tap the end of the rail and align the tabs on the bottom of the pivot with the slot on the rail. Locking inline/perpendicular pivots have a handle that locks in place to position parts or hold doors and lids open.

Swivel-Shaft Rod Ends
With a ball joint at the top of the shank, these rod ends pivot in the middle of the body instead of in the eyelet. Use them for linear push applications that require movement along the length of the connecting rod. Also known as control swivels, they provide an excellent pivoting connection between light mechanical components while constraining excess play. A rubber disc dampens vibration.
Rod ends with set screw, nut, and lock washer have a self-locking set screw and integral nut with lock washer for added holding strength.

Corrosion-Resistant Ball Socket End Fittings with Safety Clip for Gas Springs
Made from stainless steel for excellent corrosion resistance in damp environments. Thread these ball socket end fittings onto gas springs. They rotate in any direction on a ball stud to compensate for misalignment. Ball socket end fittings require a ball stud or ball stud mounting bracket (sold separately) to mount gas springs; they have a safety clip for secure attachment.
Select end fittings with a thread size that matches the rod and end thread sizes of your gas spring. The fittings will increase your gas spring's extended and compressed lengths, so add the Length 1 value for each fitting you attach.
316 stainless steel end fittings are more corrosion and chemical resistant than 18-8, 303, and 304 stainless steel end fittings. They can be used in environments with salt water.
