Replaceable-Cylinder Padlocks

Simplify keying and rekeying around your facility with locks that let you slot in your own cylinder. These locks make expanding your facility or adding more padlocks easy—just match the cylinders to your existing keying system, even if your key number isn’t common. If you need to rekey your locks, just swap out the cylinders instead of replacing the entire padlock. They accept easy-change lock cylinders, which are also called small format interchangeable core (SFIC) cylinders. To install and remove a cylinder, you'll need a control key that matches the cylinder (not included).
The dual-locking shackle prevents attempts to force them open from prying, shimming, or tapping because both ends of the shackle lock inside the padlock body.
Padlocks with aluminum bodies resist corrosion better than steel lock bodies, but they are not as strong. Padlocks with hardened-steel bodies are strong, so they stand up to break-in attempts better than steel. Padlock bodies that are chrome-plated have an extra layer of strength and protect against corrosion.
Hardened-steel shackles are stronger than steel shackles, so they stand up to prying and cutting. They are also copper-nickel-chrome plated for added corrosion resistance and strength.
Hardened boron alloy shackles are the hardest and most cut-resistant shackle material.

Weather-Resistant Replaceable-Cylinder Padlocks

Simplify keying and rekeying around your facility, both indoors and out. Instead of replacing the entire lock, just slot your own cylinder into these padlocks. Use them to match existing keying when expanding your facility, even if the key number isn’t common. Made from materials that resist corrosion from rain and snow, use them to secure outdoor equipment and gates. They accept easy-change lock cylinders, which are also called small format interchangeable core (SFIC) cylinders. To install and remove a cylinder, you'll need a control key that matches the cylinder (not included).
Padlocks with a dual-locking shackle prevent attempts to break them open from prying, shimming, or tapping because both ends of the shackle lock inside the padlock body.
Brass-body locks resist corrosion better than hardened-steel body locks. Those that are chrome plated have an added layer of corrosion protection and strength. Hardened-steel body locks are strong, so they stand up to break-in attempts better than brass-body locks. A plastic cover gives them corrosion resistance and prevents the lock body from damaging nearby surfaces. They also have a keyhole cover to protect the cylinder from freezing, corroding, and jamming.
Brass shackles are more corrosion resistant than hardened-steel shackles, but they’re not as strong. Hardened-steel shackles are plated with a combination of copper, nickel, and chrome for corrosion resistance and strength. Stainless steel shackles resist corrosion better than both hardened steel and brass shackles.
