Style D are also known as warehouse or loading bars.
Style G are also known as stripping bars.
Style K are good for separating die sets. Also known as die bars.
Wedge end is tapered on both sides of the bar.
Point end is often used for aligning bolt holes.
Pinch ends are tapered on one side and flat on the other.

Bars with a smooth head have no ridges, so they easily slide into tight spots.
Bars with a grooved head grip better than bars with a smooth head. They're less likely to slip during high-torque prying.

Nonmarring Pry Bars

Nonsparking Pry Bars
Made of aluminum-bronze that is Factory Mutual approved, these tools inhibit sparking and are nonmagnetic and corrosion resistant. They satisfy OSHA requirements that specify nonsparking tools for locations where flammable vapors and combustible residues are present.

Tank Car Pry Bars
