Bayonet Base Miniature Light Bulbs
Pins on either side of the base lock these bulbs into sockets. These bulbs are sized to fit tight spaces such as indicators and vehicle lights. Brightness is measured in lumens; the higher the lumens, the brighter the bulb.
Incandescent bulbs are traditional light bulbs.

Screw-In Base Light Bulbs
Use these bulbs in standard sockets, panels, and appliances. Brightness is measured in lumens; the higher the lumens, the brighter the bulb. Bulbs with a warm light appearance have yellow tones. Bulbs with a neutral light appearance are commonly used in workspaces. Bulbs with a cool or daylight appearance have white/blue tones and are good for inspecting. A bulb’s estimated yearly energy cost is based on 3 hours of usage per day at $0.11 per kWh.
LED bulbs last longer and are more efficient than other technologies. They generate little heat and withstand vibration. Plastic LED bulbs are shatterproof.

Twist-and-Lock Base Light Bulbs
These bulbs lock into GU24 light sockets with a twist. Brightness is measured in lumens; the higher the lumens, the brighter the bulb. A bulb’s estimated yearly cost is based on 3 hours of usage per day at $0.11 per kWh.
CFL (compact fluorescent) bulbs are energy efficient but take several seconds to reach full brightness. They contain small amounts of mercury (for disposal information, visit www.epa.gov/cfl).
Bulbs that cannot be sold to the listed regions do not meet energy efficiency and/or mercury regulations.

Screw-In Base Floodlight Bulbs
Often used in recessed can fixtures and track lighting, these bulbs produce a focused beam of light. Brightness is measured in lumens; the higher the lumens, the brighter the bulb. Bulbs with a warm light appearance have yellow tones. Bulbs with a neutral light appearance are commonly used in workspaces. Bulbs with a cool light appearance have white/blue tones and are good for inspecting. A bulb’s estimated yearly energy cost is based on 3 hours of usage per day at $0.11 per kWh.
BR and R bulbs have wide beam angles that create broad beams of light. Their length makes them good for use in large can fixtures.
PAR bulbs have narrow beam angles that provide more focused beams of light than other floodlights. A short length allows them to fit in small can fixtures without protruding.
LED bulbs last longer and are more efficient than other technologies. They generate little heat and withstand vibration. Plastic LED bulbs are shatterproof.
CFL (compact fluorescent) bulbs are more energy efficient and last longer than halogen bulbs. It takes several seconds for them to reach full brightness. They contain small amounts of mercury (for disposal information, visit www.epa.gov/cfl).
Halogen bulbs are energy efficient.
Bulbs that cannot be sold to the listed regions do not meet mercury and/or energy efficiency regulations.

Bi-Pin Base Tubular Light Bulbs
Brightness is measured in lumens; the higher the lumens, the brighter the bulb. Color rendering index (CRI) is a measurement on a scale of 0-100 of how accurately the light from a bulb represents an object's true colors; the higher the number, the more natural the colors appear. Any CRI value over 80 will show colors true to life. Bulbs with a warm light appearance have yellow tones. Bulbs with a neutral light appearance are often used in workspaces. Bulbs with a cool or daylight appearance have white/blue tones and are good for inspecting. A bulb’s estimated yearly cost is based on 3 hours of usage per day at $0.11 per kWh.
LED bulbs last longer and are more efficient than fluorescent bulbs. They generate little heat and withstand vibration. Plastic bulbs are shatterproof. Socket-ready bulbs work with most instant-start electronic ballasts, but not all. For a full list of compatible ballasts select a part number and view product detail. Fluorescent bulbs are energy efficient, but they contain small amounts of mercury (for disposal information, visit www.epa.gov/cfl).
Bulbs that cannot be sold to the regions listed exceed local regulatory limits on mercury and/or do not meet local efficiency standards.

Two-Pin Wedge Base Plug-In Compact Light Bulbs
Often used in task lights, these bulbs are comparable to PL, Dulux, and Biax bulbs. Brightness is measured in lumens; the higher the lumens, the brighter the bulb. Bulbs with a warm light appearance have yellow tones. Bulbs with a neutral light appearance are often used in workspaces. Bulbs with a cool light appearance have white/blue tones and are good for inspecting. A bulb’s estimated yearly cost is based on 3 hours of usage per day at $0.11 per kWh.
LED bulbs last longer and are more efficient than CFL bulbs. They generate little heat, withstand vibration, and are shatterproof. Plug socket-ready bulbs into an existing fixture with a compatible ballast. Ballast bypass bulbs eliminate the need for a ballast so the socket must be wired directly to the power source.
CFL (compact fluorescent) bulbs are energy efficient, but take several seconds to reach full brightness. They cannot be sold to Canada because they do not meet local efficiency standards and exceed local regulatory limits on mercury (for disposal information, visit www.epa.gov/cfl). Plastic-coated glass bulbs are shatter resistant; the coating retains glass shards if they break.
