Undersized Machine Key Assortments

Since they fit more loosely than standard keys, these undersized keys are best for uneven keyways or when you need to disassemble parts frequently, such as during maintenance or prototyping. Made of steel, all keys offer good strength.

Rounded keys fill oval keyways completely, reducing stress on the key and shaft. In closed keyways, these keys won’t slide along the shaft. Their rounded ends also make it easy to slide gears, hubs, and other components into place.
