Flame- and Arc-Flash-Protection Rain Jackets


These jackets meet NFPA 70E standards for protection against electrical arc flashes for personal protection equipment (PPE) category 2. They also meet ASTM F2733 standards for protection against flash fires. Check the PPE category and minimum arc rating provided for your workplace, and then select all required clothing and personal protective equipment to meet the minimum arc rating. Arc rating measures a garment’s ability to insulate the wearer from burns; the higher the arc rating, the greater the flame resistance. These jackets are made of PVC-coated Nomex aramid. They have snaps down the front and a storm flap to keep rain out. They have hook and loop cuffs; tighten to fit your wrist or gloves.
Fasten a hood (sold separately) to the collar snaps.
When measuring chest size, measure around the fullest part of your chest. Take all measurements over any clothing you expect to wear under these jackets.

With a rib knit waistband and cuffs that stretch for a snug fit, these sweatshirts shield your skin from hazards. The zipper is covered to create a barrier against flames. Choose a sweatshirt that meets the arc rated PPE category required by your workplace. The higher the arc rating, the greater the flame resistance. These sweatshirts are rated Category 2, the most common protection rating for standard industrial applications.
Made of blended fleece, they’re comfortable and keep you warm.

High-Visibility Flame- and Arc-Flash-Protection Sweatshirts

The fluorescent yellow fabric and reflective stripes on these sweatshirts make you stand out. They meet Class 3 ANSI/ISEA 107 standards for high-visibility clothing, so you’ll be seen from ¼ mile away. These sweatshirts also meet Category 3 NFPA 70E and NFPA 2112 for moderate protection against flames and electrical arc flashes. Made with a modacrylic/aramid blend, these sweatshirts are both durable and comfortable. To help prevent body heat from escaping, they have snug knit cuffs and a snug knit waistband. Keep your hands warm in the exterior pocket. They have an interior pocket for storage.

These shirts meet NFPA 70E and NFPA 2112 standards for protecting your torso and arms from electrical arc flashes and flames. Choose shirts that meet the arc rated category for your workplace. The higher the arc rating, the greater the flame resistance. These shirts are arc fire protection rated Category 2, the most common rating for industrial applications. Since they’re made of breathable and moisture-wicking materials, you stay cool. They have buttons down the front and on the cuffs, as well as two chest pockets.

Shirts with mesh vents allow cool air in as your shift your shoulders. The vents are hidden on the upper back.

Ultra-Flame-Resistant Clothing Kits

Withstand flash fire for up to 8 seconds—the clothes in these kits can protect you for twice as long as most flame-resistant clothing. Made of rayon/aramid, the coveralls and mask absorb moisture to keep you cool and comfortable.
The coveralls have a 10 ft. Kevlar strap, so nearby teammates can pull you to safety without putting themselves at risk if there’s a fire. The reflective stripes keep you easy to see where there's low visibility. The zipper closure on the front is covered by a hook-and-loop flap so it doesn't scrape equipment or get hot. The legs have zippers on the sides as well, so you can fit them over bulky boots. Tighten the hook and loop straps on the bottom of the pants to keep flames out. The sleeves have cuffs with thumb holes to keep the sleeves in place and prevent flames from sneaking in.
