Stud-Style Toggle Anchors for Hollow Block and Brick
Create secure threaded-stud connections in hollow walls and ceilings, such as cinder blocks and hollow core panels. These anchors have the highest shear strength of any of our anchors for hollow block and brick, and are made in the U.S. Their toggle bar pivots inside hollow cavities for a firm hold. All are similar to toggle bolt anchors, but require a smaller hole, so you won’t end up with a gaping hole in your block or brick.
To install, position the washer on the anchor and thread on the nut. Then, push the anchor through your component into a drilled hole and twist the rod 180°—gravity drops the toggle into position. Tighten the nut to secure. You can remove your component by unfastening the nut. Twist the rod back 180° to collapse the toggle and remove the anchor.

Anchors for Hollow Block and Brick
Requiring minimal installation depth, these anchors are best for thin cinder block and hollow core panel walls and ceilings. All expand
when fastened to create permanent female-threaded connections that let you remove and reinstall a screw or threaded rod. They fit into smaller holes than toggle anchors for hollow block and brick but are not as strong.
To install, place the anchor into a drilled hole, cone end first. Tap the anchor into the hole until it's flush with the surface. Then, position your component, insert a screw or threaded rod, and tighten.

Mesh Anchors for Hollow Block and Brick
Create a secure connection that withstands vibration better than any of our other anchors for block and brick. The mesh on these anchors grips adhesive (sold separately), preventing it from running into the cavities of hollow block and brick to secure threaded rods or screws. To achieve the stated strengths, you must use the adhesive listed. A good option for outdoor use, these anchors are made of 18-8 stainless steel to resist rusting while your adhesive seals out moisture.
To install, first fill the mesh anchor with adhesive and press it into a drilled hole. Then, press the tab against your block to hold the anchor in place, and insert a threaded rod or screw. The rod or screw will push the adhesive out of the mesh, forming a plug that keeps the rod or screw in place once the adhesive dries. Once installed, the rod or screw can’t be removed.
High-Strength Toggle Anchors for Drywall
Our highest-strength drywall anchors are strong enough to secure pegboards, grab bars, and sinks. The toggle creates an extremely tight hold and won’t fall behind the wall when your screw is removed, so you can switch out components without losing strength. However, the anchor itself cannot be removed. Unlike traditional toggle bolt anchors, the toggle is pulled tight to the wall with the cap, which also covers the hole.
To install, push the toggle through a drilled hole and pull the anchor back toward you until the toggle rests flush against the wall. Then, slide the cap along the straps up to the wall. Push straps side-to-side, snapping them off so they're level with the cap. Next, position your component over the hole, insert a machine screw, and tighten. The minimum screw length is the wall and component thicknesses plus 1/2".
