About Cylinder Seals
Rod wipers scrape dirt, dust, and moisture from the rod, preventing contamination inside your cylinder.
Rod seals maintain the pressure inside cylinders and prevent fluid from leaking out.
Wear rings guide the rod and piston to prevent uneven wear and optimize seal performance.
Head seals are a more reliable alternative to the standard O-ring/backup ring combination—they resist twisting and remain stable even in applications with fluctuating pressure.
Buffering seals protect hydraulic cylinders from pressure spikes and shock in high-pressure hydraulic applications.
Cushioning seals minimize wear and noise in air-powered cylinders by preventing the piston from slamming against the cylinder body.
Piston seals make a seal between their outside edge and the cylinder bore to prevent internal leaks.
Compact Hydraulic Cylinders
With a small body size, these cylinders fit into tight spaces but offer similar push forces to standard hydraulic cylinders. They’re double-acting cylinders, so they have two hydraulic ports—one to extend the piston rod and another to retract it. No matter the direction they’re moving, they can operate at nearly full force. This allows them to both push and pull multi-ton loads. All have a magnetic piston and can be used with sensors (sold separately) that electronically indicate piston position. Mount sensors to the cylinder with mounting brackets (sold separately).

Threaded-Body Hydraulic Cylinders
Small yet powerful, these cylinders thread into a system for workholding applications. Hydraulic pressure extends the piston rod and an internal spring retracts it. UN/UNF (SAE Straight) thread connections have straight threads and are also known as O-ring Boss fittings.
When using a mounting block, a mounting nut is required.
