With the push of a button, these irons convert from a straight grip to a pistol grip with either a 45° or 90° head angle. Battery power and no cord means you can take them where you need them. Compared to standard cordless soldering irons, you can solder nearly three times as many joints per charge. These irons come with two tips; additional tips are sold separately.

Soldering Irons for Soldering and Desoldering Stations

Replace your station's soldering iron or swap it out for a different wattage. The lower the wattage, the more control you have for parts that require precise soldering, such as delicate electronics. The higher the wattage, the thicker the wire it will solder, making these irons best for heavy components. All irons have a temperature control button, so you can adjust the tip temperature to suit your application.

Install heat-set inserts into plastic with precision. These presses hold the soldering iron straight for consistent installation every time—no misaligned or warped parts. Attach an installation tip, then set the temperature and installation depth. If you remove the tip from the soldering iron and take the iron off the press, it can be used for other soldering tasks.

Friction-Cutting Band Saw Blades for Thin Metal and Rubber

Image of Product. Side1 orientation. Band Saw Blades. Friction-Cutting Band Saw Blades for Thin Metal and Rubber.
Image of Attribute. Front orientation. Contains Annotated, Border. Friction-Cutting Band Saw Blades for Thin Metal and Rubber.
Used in extremely fast saws, these blades move at speeds up to 15,000 sfpm. to generate enough heat to melt and cut through hard sheet metal and rubber. Their unique tooth shape increases heat by scooping in more air to burn up the material. By melting the material, this blade can cut through hard sheet metal and rubber, while other band saw blades vibrate and warp the material being cut. Made from carbon steel with added silicon, they withstand high temperatures and resist wear.
These blades are thin and flexible for making both complex curved cuts and long, straight cuts. Choose more teeth per inch for a smooth cut; choose fewer teeth per inch for fast, rough cutting. All have a welded seam and are ready to install on vertical band saws.
