Manual crimping tools are powered by a hand pump. Insert your hose and fitting and manually pump until the die ring touches the base plate.

Air-powered crimping tools don’t require any pumping but do require a compressed air line. Insert your hose and fitting and pull the activation lever until the die ring touches the base plate.

Dies are required to crimp. Choose one that matches your hose diameter and hose fitting series. They’re color coded, so they’re easy to tell apart.
