High-Visibility Welding Jackets

Bright colors make it easy to spot you in low-visibility areas. These jackets protect against flames and welding sparks. They snap closed and have one inside pocket.
When measuring chest size, measure around the fullest part of your chest. Take all measurements over any clothing you expect to wear under these jackets.
Orange jackets don’t have reflective stripes that would cause a glare from sparks as you're welding.
Green jackets have a silver stripe that reflects light, so you stand out better in poorly lit places than with orange jackets. Made of 12 oz. cotton—similar in thickness to a canvas tarp—these jackets can withstand more wear than orange jackets. They meet NFPA 70E standards for protection against electrical arc flashes for personal protection equipment (PPE) category 2. Check the PPE category and minimum arc rating provided for your workplace, and then select all required clothing and personal protective equipment to meet the minimum arc rating. Arc rating measures a garment’s ability to insulate the wearer from burns; the higher the arc rating, the greater the flame resistance.

Flame- and Arc-Flash-Protection High-Visibility Vests

These vests are fluorescent yellow with reflective stripes, so you’ll stand out in risky areas with low visibility. They're rated NFPA 70E to protect your torso against flames and arc flash. These vests meet ANSI/ISEA 107, so they've passed tests for visibility at high speeds and distances. That means you'll be seen by fast-moving vehicles or from across the shop floor.
Choose a vest that meets the arc rated personal protective equipment (PPE) category required by your workplace. The higher the arc rating, the greater the flame resistance. Wear these vests over flame-and arc-flash rated long-sleeve shirts or sweatshirts to meet the specified arc rating.
Vests that are rated PPE Category 1 provide light protection against arc flashes. Made of mesh acrylic, these vests are self-extinguishing. They are stitched with Nomex thread for added durability. They have hook and loop closures down the front and one waist pocket.
Vests that are rated PPE Category 4 provide the highest level of protection from arc flashes. Rated NFPA 2112, they also protect against flash fires. They’re made of modacrylic/aramid which is more durable and flame resistant than acrylic vests. You’ll stay dry thanks to the water-resistant coating. These vests have a lightweight and breathable cotton liner for added comfort. They have a zipper down the front, one chest pocket, and two waist pockets.
When measuring chest size, measure around the fullest part of your chest. Take all measurements over any clothing you expect to wear under these vests.

High-Visibility Flame- and Arc-Flash-Protection Sweatshirts

The fluorescent yellow fabric and reflective stripes on these sweatshirts make you stand out. They meet Class 3 ANSI/ISEA 107 standards for high-visibility clothing, so you’ll be seen from ¼ mile away. These sweatshirts also meet Category 3 NFPA 70E and NFPA 2112 for moderate protection against flames and electrical arc flashes. Made with a modacrylic/aramid blend, these sweatshirts are both durable and comfortable. To help prevent body heat from escaping, they have snug knit cuffs and a snug knit waistband. Keep your hands warm in the exterior pocket. They have an interior pocket for storage.
When choosing clothing to protect you from arc flashes, match the arc rated personal protective equipment (PPE) category required by your workplace.

High-Visibility Flame- and Arc-Flash-Protection Coveralls

Wear these coveralls for neck-to-ankle protection from electrical arc-flashes and flash fires. They’re bright yellow with reflective strips to help you stand out in busy areas and dim conditions. They meet NFPA 70E and NFPA 2112 standards for protection from arc flashes and flames, as well as ANSI/ISEA 107 standards for visibility. They’re rated Class 3, which means you'll be visible from at least 1/4 of a mile away. Made of a cotton/nylon blend, these coveralls are soft and wear resistant. They cannot be sold to the listed areas due to PFAS regulations.
Check the personal protective equipment (PPE) category and minimum arc rating provided for your workplace and select all required clothing and personal protective equipment to meet that rating. These coveralls are rated for Category 2, the most common arc flash rating for industrial applications.
Use the size chart for general guidance. When choosing a size, consider individual body shape and clothing worn underneath.

High-Visibility Flame- and Arc-Flash-Protection Shirts

Stay visible—even in dim light—and shielded from flames and arc flash hazards. These shirts meet NFPA 70E and NFPA 2112 standards for protecting your torso and arms against flash fire and electrical arc flashes. Choose shirts that meet the arc rated category required by your workplace. These shirts are rated Category 2, the most common rating for industrial applications. Bright in color and decked out with reflective strips, these shirts meet Class 3 ANSI/ISEA 107 to make you visible from a ¼ mile away. Use them around moving vehicles, on busy shop floors, and when operating machinery.
Made of cotton/nylon blend, these shirts are breathable and moisture wicking, so you won’t get too hot. They have concealed mesh vents on the back that let air in and keep you cool as you move.
