Recessed T-Handle Cam Latches

The T-handle lays flush in the recess, so you won’t bump into or catch your clothes on these latches. Also called quarter-turn latches, they have a cam that rotates 90° to secure enclosures. The cam has an adjustable latching distance, making these latches best for jobs when precise distances are unknown. Adjust the cam’s position before installing. You can install these latches in a round hole instead of the irregularly shaped standard cam hole. This is helpful if your panel is difficult to cut or part of an existing structure. Made of 316 stainless steel, they resist rusting if rinsed or wiped with cleaning solutions.

Lift-and-Turn Tight-Hold Recessed T-Handle Cam Latches

Fold the handle into the recess to stay out of the way when not in use. It lays flat so you won’t bump into these latches or catch clothes on them. The latches project further into enclosures than other latches without a recess. To open them, pull the handle. Also known as compression cam latches, they create a tighter hold than traditional cam latches, making them useful for doors that have a seal. Lift the handle and turn it a quarter- or half-turn to close, then push it down to create full compression and minimize rattling from vibration.
All of these latches include one or more cams with an adjustable latching distance. They handle a wide range of latching distances, so they’re best for tasks when precise distances are unknown. Adjust the position of the cam before you begin to install them.
Aluminum latches are lighter in weight then stainless steel latches, but not as corrosion resistant.
Use stainless steel latches in areas that are constantly exposed to moisture since they resist corrosion better than aluminum latches .
For Style B latches, the installation hole can be made with a round hole instead of the irregularly shaped standard cam hole. This is especially helpful if the material of the door is difficult to cut or part of an existing structure.

Tight-Hold Recessed Ring-Handle Cam Latches

Fold the ring handle into the recess to stay out of the way when not in use. It lays flat so you won’t bump into these latches or catch clothes on them. The latches project further into enclosures than other latches without a recess. To open them, pull the ring with your finger. Turn the head a quarter turn to lock, then turn it another quarter turn to create compression. The second turn also reduces rattling from vibration.
Also known as compression cam latches, these latches create a tighter hold than traditional cam latches, making them useful for doors that have a seal. A gasket helps keep low-pressure washdowns and dust from entering through the latch. This helps you maintain your sealed enclosure's IP or NEMA rating. Made of stainless steel, these latches won’t rust in areas that are constantly exposed to moisture.
All of these latches include multiple cams with an adjustable latching distance. They handle a wide range of latching distances, so they’re best for tasks when precise distances are unknown. Adjust the position of the cam before you begin to install them. The latch installation hole can be made with a round hole instead of the irregularly shaped standard cam hole. This is especially helpful if the material of the door is difficult to cut or part of an existing structure.

Tight-Hold Hex-Drive Recessed T-Handle Cam Locks

When not in use, fold the handle into the recess to keep it out of the way. It lays flat so you won’t bump into these locks or catch clothes on them. The locks project further into enclosures than other locks without a recess. To open them, pull the handle with your fingers. Turn the head a quarter turn to lock, then push the handle down into the recess to create compression and minimize rattling from vibration.
Also known as compression cam locks, these locks create a tighter hold than traditional cam locks, making them useful for doors that have a seal. They open with a hex key and are great if you want to secure an enclosure with a simple keying system. Made of stainless steel, the locks won’t rust in areas that are constantly exposed to moisture.
These locks include a cam with an adjustable latching distance. They handle a wide range of latching distances, so they’re best for tasks when precise distances are unknown. Adjust the position of the cam before you begin to install them. The lock installation hole can be made with a round hole instead of the irregularly shaped standard cam hole. This is especially helpful if the material of the door is difficult to cut or part of an existing structure.

Hex-Socket Draw Locks

Use a 5/16" hex key to open and close these locks. They’re good for use on sliding doors. A hole must be drilled in your panel for hex key access when mortise mounting. Capacity is the maximum amount of force the lock can withstand.
Style A has front tab mounting holes for mortise mounting.
Styles B and C have both side and back mounting holes, so they attach to the side of the panel or mortise into the panel.

Recessed Handle Keyed Push-to-Close Locks

To prevent snags and accidental bumps, these locks have a recessed grip instead of a standard handle. Put your finger in the recess and slide the lock to open. They keep doors shut when you push them closed. A convenient alternative to cam and draw latches, they don't require you to turn a cam or pull a latch to close. They press into a cutout without tools, so they’re fast and easy to install. However, they only fit a cutout shape that matches the lock. Since they’re keyed alike, they’re good if you need several locks that open with the same key. They meet UL 94 V-0, so they’ll self-extinguish in the event of a fire.

Electromagnetic Door Locks

For use alone or as part of an access-control system, these locks use electromagnetic force to hold single doors closed. Control the locks with a push-button switch or keypad door control (sold separately). When power is interrupted, they instantly release. All locks must be hardwired.
Flush mount locks mount under the door frame header. For locks with 500 lbs. and 1,500 lbs. of holding strength, a 5/8" thick filler plate (sold separately) is required if the mounting surface on the frame is less than 2" wide.
Locks with instant locking action lock doors as soon as they are closed. Those with delayed locking action lock doors after a set amount of time.
Optional battery backup packs supply power during power interruptions.
