Chemical-Resistant Heat-Shrink Tubing
Use this tubing where wire and cable may be exposed to chemicals, oil, and acids.
PVC plastic tubing is more chemical resistant than rubber. It also resists UV, so it won’t fade or discolor when exposed to sunlight. Store tubing at 70° F or lower to avoid premature shrinkage.
SAE AMS-DTL-23053/1 Class 2, 23053/2 Class 2, and 23053/13 tubing meets requirements for material quality and color.

Electrical-Insulating Heat-Shrink Tubing
Insulate and protect high-voltage devices. This tubing withstands higher voltages than standard heat-shrink tubing because it’s made of a flame-retardant material with excellent electrical insulation properties. It’s orange, so it’s easy to identify.
Tubing for a maximum voltage of 2500V AC is designed for use in electric vehicles. It shrinks at a lower temperature than 5000V tubing, so you can avoid damaging nearby components when applying heat. This tubing meets UL 224 VW-1 for flame retardance.
