Easy-to-Remove Heat-Shrink Tubing
- Material: Fluoropolymer Plastic
- Shrink Ratio: See Table
- Dielectric Strength: 2,000 V/mil
- Shrink Temperature: 420° F
- Temperature Range: Not Rated to 400° F
Access connections more easily than with standard heat-shrink tubing. Make a small slit in this tubing to peel it away. Made of fluoropolymer, it resists chemicals and withstands temperatures up to 400° F.
Dielectric strength is the maximum voltage a material can handle before it starts to breakdown.
High-Temperature Moisture-Seal Heat-Shrink Tubing
- Material: PTFE Plastic
- Shrink Ratio: See Table
- Dielectric Strength: 455 V/mil
- Shrink Temperature: 660° F
- Temperature Range: -450° to 450° F
Create a moisture-resistant seal in applications where temperatures reach up to 450° F. The inner lining melts when the tubing is heated and bonds to the underlying surface, creating a water-resistant seal. Made of PTFE, it also resists abrasion and chemicals. Choose tubing with a larger shrink ratio to create a tight seal over irregularly shaped objects.
Dielectric strength is the maximum voltage a material can handle before it starts to breakdown.

High-Strength Heat-Shrink Tubing
With excellent resistance to tears, cuts, chemicals, and high temperatures, this tubing withstands demanding use.
FEP tubing is more chemical resistant than PVDF tubing, and withstands higher temperatures. It resists tears from stretching or flexing, but it’s softer than PVDF tubing and less resistant to cuts.
Dielectric strength is the maximum voltage a material can handle before it starts to breakdown. The higher the dielectric strength of a material, the better it is for preventing electricity, heat, or signal from dissipating from wire and cable.

Chemical-Resistant Heat-Shrink Tubing
Use this tubing where wire and cable may be exposed to chemicals, oil, and acids.
Viton® fluoroelastomer rubber tubing is more chemical resistant than neoprene rubber. It’s also abrasion resistant and withstands temperatures up to 390° F.
SAE AMS-DTL-23053/1 Class 2, 23053/2 Class 2, and 23053/13 tubing meets requirements for material quality and color.
Dielectric strength is the maximum voltage a material can handle before it starts to breakdown. The higher the dielectric strength of a material, the better it is for preventing electricity, heat, or signal from dissipating from wire and cable.

High-Temperature Heat-Shrink Tubing
Use this tubing in applications where temperatures reach up to 500° F. It’s often used to insulate electronic components. Tubing resists abrasion and chemicals. Semi-rigid, it bends only slightly.
PEEK tubing has a higher dielectric strength than PTFE, so it’s better for electrical insulation. It also withstands high-pressure applications and is often used in oil and gas exploration. PTFE tubing is more chemical resistant than PEEK.
Dielectric strength is the maximum voltage a material can handle before it starts to breakdown. The higher the dielectric strength of a material, the better it is for preventing electricity, heat, or signal from dissipating from wire and cable.

Thin-Wall High-Temperature Heat-Shrink Tubing
- Material: PTFE Plastic
- Shrink Ratio: 2:1
- Dielectric Strength: 455 V/mil
- Shrink Temperature: 655° F
- Temperature Range: -325° to 500° F
With thin walls, this tubing shrinks faster than other high-temperature tubing. Made of PTFE, it withstands temperatures up to 500° F and resists abrasion and chemicals. It’s also UV resistant, so it won’t fade in sunlight.
Tubing with a 0.006" – 0.01" minimum wall thickness after shrinking is often used on extremely thin (0.014" - 0.038") guide wire to help maintain the thinness of the wire. It’s also good for splicing fiber optics—it minimizes damage to the fibers.
Dielectric strength is the maximum voltage a material can handle before it starts to breakdown.

Continuous-Flex Abrasion-Resistant Heat-Shrink Tubing
- Material: Silicone Rubber
- Shrink Ratio: 1.7:1
- Dielectric Strength: 200 V/mil
- Shrink Temperature: 275° F
- Temperature Range: -55° to 390° F
- Specifications Met: UL 2556 VW-1
Often used in automated applications such as robotics, this highly flexible tubing withstands continuous motion without cracking and tearing. Made of silicone rubber, it resists abrasion and chemicals, and withstands temperatures up to 390° F. Its flame rated VW-1 to meet requirements for preventing the spread of flames based on a timed test with vertically suspended material.
Dielectric strength is the maximum voltage a material can handle before it starts to breakdown.

No-Heat Shrink Tubing
Create a permanent seal without applying heat. Also known as cold-shrink tubing, this tubing has a removable spiral-wound core. Slide the tubing over wire and cable and pull out the core. When the core is removed, the tubing contracts and conforms to the underlying cable. The length shrinks by several inches. Made of rubber, it resists chemicals including acids, alkalies, and ozone. Resistant to UV, it won’t fade or discolor when exposed to sunlight.
Silicone rubber tubing withstands a wider temperature range without degrading than EPDM rubber tubing. It is also more flexible for use in tight spaces.
