About Heat-Shrink Tubing

High-Temperature Heat-Shrink Tubing
Use this tubing in applications where temperatures reach up to 500° F. It’s often used to insulate electronic components. Tubing resists abrasion and chemicals. Semi-rigid, it bends only slightly.
PEEK tubing has a higher dielectric strength than PTFE, so it’s better for electrical insulation. It also withstands high-pressure applications and is often used in oil and gas exploration.Dielectric strength is the maximum voltage a material can handle before it starts to breakdown. The higher the dielectric strength of a material, the better it is for preventing electricity, heat, or signal from dissipating from wire and cable.
