    Weld Anchors for Concrete

Image of Product. Front orientation. Contains Annotated. Anchors. Weld Anchors for Concrete.
Also known as Nelson studs, these anchors strengthen the connection between steel framing and concrete. Weld them to the framing to enhance adhesion and resist shear forces. Their heads ensure secure embedding when wet concrete is poured. A ferrule is included if you choose to weld with a stud welder. Designed for permanent installations, you'd have to cut these anchors out to remove them.
Steel—Best for dry environments since moisture will cause these anchors to rust.

Weld in place for greater rigidity and strength than other studs. These studs have a wide base that distributes the load and projections that concentrate the weld. Length listed is overall length.
Steel—Without a finish, these studs require minimal prep work before welding. After installation, you can paint them for a finished look.
Below-Head Projection—Choose these studs for a strong hold that uses the full strength of the fastener. Pass through a hole and weld them in place.
Above-Head Projection—Weld the head directly to the surface of the material for a smooth appearance.

18-8 Stainless Steel—18-8 stainless steel pins offer a balance of strength and corrosion resistance. They may be mildly magnetic. Pins are passivated for added protection against corrosion and oxidation.

    Threaded Studs

Threaded studs are for thin-gauge base materials.
Copper-Plated Steel—Copper-plated steel studs have good corrosion resistance.
18-8 Stainless Steel—18-8 stainless steel studs are more corrosion resistant than copper-plated steel studs.
Aluminum—Aluminum studs are more lightweight than steel or stainless steel studs. They’re nonmagnetic. In wet environments, they resist corrosion.
