Heavy-Removal Bench and Pedestal Grinding Wheels for Metals

Designed to stand up to heavy use, these wheels remove more material than our General Purpose Grinding Wheels.
Wheels are for grinding, deburring, and sharpening. They include one of each reducer bushing listed. The smallest bushing size shown is the smallest allowed for that size wheel.

Norton Long-Life Toolroom Grinding Wheels for Metals


A more durable abrasive allows these wheels to remove more material and last longer than Norton General Purpose Grinding Wheels. They are also known as Type 1 wheels and straight wheels.

Long-Life Adhesive-Back Sanding Discs

Coated with zirconia alumina to stay sharper longer. The abrasive grit continually fractures to produce new, sharp cutting edges. This abrasive is great for aggressively removing material from steel and wood, and it lasts longer than aluminum oxide. Press onto a compatible sanding tool or backup pad (sold separately); peel off to remove. Also known as PSA discs. To maintain strong adhesion, clean the pad surface with mild alcohol before applying. Do not use aggressive cleaning solvents such as MEK or acetone, which can damage the adhesive.
