Rubber-Cushioned Abrasive Grinding Bits for Metals
The abrasive grains in these bits are blended with rubber, which cushions during grinding to produce a smoother surface texture than other bits with similar grits. Bits are also known as mounted points and die grinder bits. Head diameter is measured at the widest point.
Bits for steel are aluminum oxide, which is the most common abrasive used in grinding metal.
Caution: As bit shank is exposed beyond 1/2", maximum safe rpm decreases significantly. Refer to ANSI standard B7.1. Use only accessories that have a greater rpm rating than the maximum speed of the grinder you choose.

Rubber-Cushioned Abrasive Grinding Bits without Shank for Metals
Bits attach to shanks so you can quickly switch head shapes without removing the shank. The abrasive grains are blended with rubber, which cushions during grinding to produce a smoother surface texture than other bits with similar grits.
Bits are silicon carbide, which cuts through soft metals without generating much heat or causing material buildup. Head diameter is measured at the widest point

Long-Life Rubber-Cushioned Abrasive Grinding Bits for Metals
A diamond abrasive that's bonded to a rubber cushioning makes these bits last 10 to 20 times longer than rubber-cushioned bits without diamond. Because they’re cushioned during grinding, these bits produce a smoother surface texture than other bits with similar grits. Also known as mounted points and die grinder bits.

Spiral-Wound Sanding Rolls
As the outer layer wears away, new abrasive is exposed. Also known as cartridge rolls. A shank adapter or tapered spindle with a shank is required (both sold separately). The most common abrasive material, aluminum oxide is hard enough to sand steel and wood. The diameter listed is for the large end of the roll.
Straight rolls are for use in channels, fillets, recesses, contours, sidewalls, and other hard-to-reach spots.
Tapered rolls are for use on angles, corners, concave contours, funnel-shaped recesses, and other intricate shapes.
Cone rolls are for use in holes. Unlike tapered rolls, they have a flat surface to allow for a more even finish within internal surfaces.

Sanding Pads for Internal and Irregular Surfaces
Sand inside pipes, tubes, and hard to reach corners with these pads. A shank adapter is required (sold separately). The most common abrasive material, aluminum oxide is hard enough to sand steel and wood.
Slotted pads are flexible, so you can access the entire inside of a hole or tube. They are less aggressive than square and cross pads, making them the best choice for light material removal and finishing. Choose an overall width that is at least 1/2" smaller than the inside diameter of the work piece.
