These tubes are Garolite G-10/FR4, a good all-around choice that's strong, machinable, and electrically insulating. They're made of a flame-retardant epoxy resin with fiberglass fabric reinforcement. Garolite G-10/FR4 is also called epoxy-grade industrial laminate and phenolic.

These Garolite G-10 tubes can be used in place of Garolite G-10/FR4 tubes for applications that are sensitive to halogen, such as in nuclear plants. They're strong, machinable, and electrically insulating. Made of an epoxy resin with fiberglass fabric reinforcement, Garolite G-10 is also called epoxy-grade industrial laminate and phenolic.

Rated for temperatures down to -450° F, this Garolite G-10 CR performs better in cryogenic applications than other glass epoxies. An excellent thermal insulator, it’s often used to transport liquid gases. It also prevents the flow of electrical current. This Garolite keeps its shape without cracking when bent. It has a glass fabric base for strength.
