Rigid Glass-Filled Wear-Resistant Easy-to-Machine Delrin® Acetal Resin Rods

- Color: White
- Temperature Range: -40° to 185° F
- Tensile Strength: 7,700 psi (Good)
- Impact Strength: 0.9 ft.-lbs./in. (Poor)
- Hardness: Rockwell M87 (Hard)
- For Use Outdoors: No
- Specifications Met: ASTM D6100, UL 94 HB
These rods have a glass-fiber filler that increases rigidity over standard Delrin® acetal resin rods. Naturally slippery and wear resistant, they can be machined to close tolerances because they resist expanding when exposed to heat and moisture. Use them to machine manifolds, bushings, and impellers. Delrin® acetal resin is also known as acetal homopolymer.

A glass-fiber filler makes these naturally slippery, wear-resistant sheets more rigid than standard Delrin® acetal resin sheets. They resist expanding when exposed to heat and moisture resistant, so they can be machined to close tolerances. Use them to make manifolds, impellers, and other parts that require rigidity.
