Friction Hinges
Constant resistance through the full range of motion holds lids, panels, and doors at any angle. All hinges have a nonremoveable pin to deter tampering. Style 3 includes a snap-on cover to hide the mounting fasteners.
Zinc hinges have mild corrosion resistance.
Aluminum hinges are about half the weight of zinc. They also have mild corrosion resistance.
304 stainless steel hinges are more corrosion resistant than zinc and aluminum. They also have good chemical resistance.

Tighten or loosen an adjustment screw to change the hinge resistance. Constant resistance through the full range of motion holds lids, panels, and doors at any angle. These hinges discourage tampering, since they can’t be taken apart without damaging the hinge. Capacity is based on one hinge per door.

To choose a door mounting location, stand on the pull side of the door—use a right-side hinge if the hinge is on the right or a left-side hinge if it’s on the left.

Soft-Close Friction Lid Hinges
Eliminate slamming lids—these hinges hold lids open at their widest angle and then slowly pull them closed. All have a nonremoveable pin to deter tampering.
Hinges sold as a pair include two hinges for one lid.
Style 3 has hinge leaves that fit into two cutouts (mortises) to mount flush with door and frame edges.
Acetal hinges have better chemical resistance than polybutylene.
