This oil withstands the heavy loads found in gears and gear-drive systems. Use it in food-processing and preparation areas. It's NSF registered H1 for use in areas where there is the possibility of incidental food contact.

Mineral oil is derived from petroleum and is more economical than synthetic oil. Synthetic oil lasts longer than mineral oil.

High-Pressure Food Industry Gear and Chain Oil


For use in worm gears, this oil stands up to high pressure. Use it in food-processing and preparation areas. It is NSF registered H1 for incidental food contact.
Viscosity is the thickness of an oil. The higher the grade, the thicker the oil, and the less it flows.
Oil in a pail has an FZG load stage rating greater than or equal to 12, designating it as a high-pressure oil.

Food Industry Open Gear and Chain Grease


For use in food-processing and preparation areas, this grease is NSF registered H1 or meets FDA Compliant 21 CFR 178.3570 for incidental contact with food. It's tacky to stick to open gears and roller chain.
NLGI viscosity grade is a rating of a grease's consistency. NLGI 2 is about the consistency of peanut butter. NLGI 3 is about the consistency of vegetable shortening.
Mineral-oil-based grease, derived from petroleum, is more economical than synthetic-oil-based grease. It has aluminum thickener, which provides excellent oxidation resistance and good moisture resistance. Synthetic-oil-based grease has longer-lasting performance than mineral-oil-based grease. Made with PTFE thickener, it has excellent heat and moisture resistance. It is best for low-speed, high-torque gears and chain.
Grease lubricates most efficiently within the listed temperature range. Melting temperature is the point at which grease will fail and run out of equipment, leaving it to run dry. Nonmelting grease can be used at temperatures above the maximum temperature briefly, but then will break down more quickly.

Made with moisture-resistant aluminum thickener, this grease resists washing off and reduces corrosion in wet environments while still lubricating under heavy loads. It is NSF registered H1 for incidental food contact. Tackier than gear box grease, it sticks to open gears and roller chain.

Grease that is NSF registered H1 and grease that meets FDA 21 CFR 178.3570 are rated for incidental contact with food.
Mineral-oil-based grease, derived from petroleum, is usually more economical than synthetic-oil-based grease. Synthetic-oil-based grease lasts longer than mineral-oil-based grease and generally withstands a wider range of temperatures.
Grease with PTFE thickener has good heat, moisture, and oxidation resistance. Grease with aluminum thickener has good moisture resistance and excellent oxidation resistance. Grease with silica thickener has excellent heat and moisture resistance and good oxidation resistance. Grease with calcium sulfonate thickener has good heat resistance and excellent moisture and oxidation resistance. Grease with silicone thickener has excellent heat and moisture resistance and good oxidation resistance.
Grease with PTFE has small particles of PTFE that reduce friction and help the grease maintain its lubricity.

High-Pressure Food Industry Grease


This grease remains stable and in place under high pressure, heavy loads, and shock loads. It's often used to lubricate heavy-duty food production equipment.
Grease that is NSF registered H1 and grease that meets FDA 21 CFR 178.3570 are rated for incidental contact with food.
NLGI viscosity grade is a rating of a grease's consistency. NLGI 2 is about the consistency of peanut butter.
Weld load measures a grease's ability to withstand pressure in kilograms of force (kgf). The higher the rating, the more pressure the grease can withstand.
Grease with aluminum thickener has good moisture resistance and excellent oxidation resistance. Grease with silica thickener has excellent heat and moisture resistance and good oxidation resistance. Grease with calcium sulfonate thickener has good heat resistance and excellent moisture and oxidation resistance. It cannot be sold to Cailfornia due to local regulatory limits on VOC (volatile organic compounds).
Grease with PTFE has small particles of PTFE that reduce friction and help the grease maintain its lubricity. Grease with zinc neutralizes acid and is a good replacement for leaded grease.
Grease lubricates most efficiently within the listed temperature range. Melting temperature is the point at which grease will fail and run out of equipment, leaving it to run dry.

Grease

Use this general purpose grease to lubricate most machinery.
NLGI viscosity grade is a rating of a grease's consistency. NLGI 2 is about the consistency of peanut butter.
Synthetic-oil-based grease lasts longer than mineral-oil-based grease and generally withstands a wider range of temperatures. Grease with silicone thickener has excellent heat and moisture resistance and good oxidation resistance. It is NSF registered H1 for incidental food contact. Grease lubricates most efficiently within the listed temperature range. Melting temperate is the point at which grease will fail and run out of equipment, leaving it to run dry.
