Surrounded by a protective plastic spiral, this hose bounces back to its original shape when stepped on and resists wear from being dragged across rough floors. Hose has a smooth interior for unrestricted flow. It is often used with lint, dust, and sawdust. It meets UL 94 HB for flame retardance.

Hose that is FDA compliant can be used with dry food, such as flour and sugar.

Easy-Clamp Duct Hose for Dry Food

These short lengths of hose have a collar on each end to prevent the clamp from slipping off. Connect them to sifters, screeners, and other vibratory equipment. FDA compliant for direct contact with food, they’re often used to move rice and grain. Made of either natural rubber or neoprene, this hose won’t impart taste or odors on your product.

Neoprene hose is harder than natural rubber hose but less durable.

Sanitary Snap-In Duct Hose and Fittings

Transfer material from sifters, feeders, and strainers to other parts of your sanitary line with these hose lengths and fittings. They’re 3-A and USDA certified to meet sanitary design standards, as well as FDA compliant for direct contact with food. Cuffs at each end of the hose have grooves that snap into matching grooves on fittings. These grooves form a seal that’s more sanitary than hose clamp connections, since there are no gaps where contaminants could gather. It’s also tighter and less likely to leak than hose clamps. When pressure increases, the hose presses against fittings, tightening the seal. You don’t need tools to install or remove this hose—squeeze the end cuff to slide it into or out of fittings.

Made from flexible, abrasion-resistant plastic, this hose won’t crack and rip from the movement of your machines. It’s also chemical-resistant, so it holds up to frequent washing during clean-in-place (CIP) cycles. The smooth seams won't trap food and other particles. It's clear, so you can monitor flow.

When choosing a hose length, consider the side-to-side, horizontal, and rotational movement of your machines. You’ll need hose that’s slightly longer than the gap between equipment to account for movement and vibration.

Hose with 1" coil is good for applications with up-and-down movement, such as bag feeders. The closely-spaced internal coil helps the hose maintain its shape while it’s compressed.

Hose without coil has thick, flexible walls that bend side-to-side to handle misalignment and rotation. It’s often used with sifters and strainers. This hose doesn’t handle up-and-down movement as well as hose with 1" coil, since the walls may crease when the hose is compressed. Creases in the hose wall restrict flow, increase wear, and create pockets that trap food and liquids. This hose is latex-free and doesn’t include Bisphenol A (BPA), which is a chemical that can contaminate your line.

Fittings are stainless steel, which won’t corrode from harsh cleaners and sanitizers. You can cut them to fit onto existing pipes. Weld them to the inlets and outlets on your equipment before attaching hose.

Metal-Detectable Spiral Sleeving

Protect cables, cords, and wire and form them into bundles in your food-processing plant while lowering the risk of contaminating the food. This sleeving has a metal additive that will set off metal detectors to help you comply with Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) programs. It’s also bright blue, which makes it easy to spot any broken pieces that fall into your line. All are FDA compliant for direct contact with food.

This sleeving has a spiral shape for you to route your cables through. It’s a reusable alternative to tape and cable ties. Made of plastic, it resists corrosion and chemicals, so it withstands washdowns with sanitizers and harsh cleaners. It also holds up under impact, rubbing, and scraping. All of this sleeving meets UL 94 HB for flame retardance.

Washdown Vibration-Damping Threaded-Rod-Mount Clamping Hangers

These hangers provide maximum corrosion resistance in wet environments and stand up to frequent washdowns with harsh cleaners and sanitizers. Rounded edges, polished surfaces, and acorn or hex nuts that conceal threads reduce the number of places for bacteria to grow and make them easier to clean. The cushion is FDA compliant for direct contact with food; it fits tightly around material to lessen vibration and prevents corrosion caused by metal-to-metal contact. The greater the hanger’s width, the heavier duty it is. Hangers have a threaded hole on top for mounting with threaded rod.

Silicone cushions withstand steam cleaning, as well as ozone, sunlight, and oxidation. PTFE cushions withstand most chemicals.

Push-to-Lock Plastic Clamping Hangers

Lock your line in faster than any other hanger. These hangers automatically close when you press your line into the clamp. The plastic construction prevents corrosion caused by metal-to-metal contact. They have an unthreaded hole for mounting with a fastener.

HDPE hangers are FDA compliant for direct contact with food, so they’re safe to use in food environments. These hangers also stand up to chemicals and washdowns.

To mount to threaded rod, use a threaded rod adapter (sold separately).
