Fluke Wireless Remote-Reading Clamp-on-Jaw Current Meters

Image of Product. Front orientation. Current Meters. Fluke Wireless Remote-Reading Clamp-on-Jaw Current Meters.
Take current measurements from a distance with these high-quality, durable Fluke meters. They wirelessly transmit readings to a separate display. Because the jaws surround a cable, these meters are convenient for taking frequent measurements since you don't have to interrupt the circuit.
The meters work with the Fluke 3000 FC multimeter, a computer with a Fluke pc3000 FC connector plugged in (not included), or a mobile device that has the Fluke Connect app.
True RMS AC Calculation—These true RMS current meters take accurate AC measurements regardless of the load type or sine wave shape. This is important for testing electronic devices that draw current in short pulses that can distort the shape of the wave, such as computers and adjustable-speed drives.
Display Count—Display count is an industry designation and not an actual value. For example, a 1,000-count meter shows numbers up to 999. A higher display count means the meter can give a more precise measurement.

Rely on the quality and durability of Fluke multimeters when taking voltage, resistance, and other electrical measurements.
True RMS AC Calculation—True RMS multimeters take accurate AC measurements regardless of the load type or sine wave shape. This is important for testing electronic devices that draw current in short pulses that can distort the shape of the wave, such as computers and adjustable-speed drives.
Multimeters with Calibration Certificate—Multimeters with calibration certificate include a document stating that they have passed a test for accuracy.
Display Count—Display count is an industry designation and not an actual value. For example, a 6,000-count multimeter shows numbers up to 5,999. A higher display count means the multimeter can give a more precise measurement.

    Analog Clamp-on-Jaw Multimeters

Image of Product. Front orientation. Multimeters. Analog Clamp-on-Jaw Multimeters.
Measure rapidly changing electrical values more easily than with digital multimeters. Convenient for taking frequent high current measurements, the meters have jaws that surround a cable to test current without interrupting the circuit. Use the included test leads to perform other electrical tests.
Average-Sensing AC Calculation—Average-sensing multimeters take accurate AC measurements when testing equipment that has a linear load and draws current in a smooth sine wave, such as standard induction motors.

    Current-Sensing Test Leads

Image of Product. Front orientation. Test Leads. Current-Sensing Test Leads, Current Clamp.

    Current Clamp

Measure current without interrupting the circuit by connecting these test leads to a multimeter or current meter.
The connection end is a 4 mm banana plug, which is the standard for connecting to a multimeter or current meter.
These test leads step down the sensed current to a level that works with a multimeter or current meter—the signal reduction ratio is the factor by which they reduce current.
