About Flowmeters and Totalizers
Flowmeters measure the rate of flow for a liquid or a gas. Totalizers measure the cumulative flow volume. Flowmeter/totalizers display both the flow rate and the cumulative flow volume.

Panel-Mount Flowmeters
Fittings on the back let you install these flowmeters in instrument panels. Mount them vertically inline with your piping system, so liquid flows up from the bottom. As liquid passes through, it pushes an indicator up the scale, showing you the flow rate. With an acrylic body, they're completely clear, so you can inspect your liquid's color and clarity for any problems.
These flowmeters are calibrated with water but can be used with other liquids. If you’re using these with a liquid other than water, you’ll need to calculate the flow rate by multiplying the number shown on the scale by the specific-gravity conversion factor for your liquid.
Flowmeters with a flow-control knob let you open and close the valve at the inlet to adjust the flow rate within the range.
Choose a fitting material that is compatible with the liquid you're running through your line. PVC fittings work with a wide range of chemicals. However, they can crack from impact or when overtightened. Brass, 303 stainless steel, and 316 stainless steel fittings resist impact better than PVC fittings.
Flowmeters with a female × male connection have internal NPT female threads and external NPT male threads.
Flowmeters with a calibration certificate traceable to NIST states that the flowmeter has passed a test for accuracy.

Install these flowmeters in an instrument panel where they might be exposed to blows and other impact. They have a case that protects them from cracking or shattering. Using the fittings on the back, these flowmeters mount vertically inline with your pipe system, so liquid flows up from the bottom. As liquid flows through the meter, it pushes an indicator up the scale, showing you the flow rate.
These flowmeters are calibrated with water but can be used with other liquids. If you’re using these with a liquid other than water, you’ll need to calculate the flow rate by multiplying the number shown on the scale by the specific-gravity conversion factor for your liquid.
Choose a fitting material that is compatible with the liquid you're running through your line.
Flowmeters with 303 stainless steel fittings are also calibrated with air.
Flowmeters with a flow-control knob let you open and close the inlet valve to adjust the flow rate within the range.

Replacement Seal Kit
Monitor the flow rate of air and other gases from your instrument panel—these flowmeters have fittings on the back for panel mounting. They should be mounted vertically inline with your piping system, so gas flows up from the bottom. As gas passes through, it pushes an indicator up the scale, showing you the flow rate. With an acrylic body, they're completely clear, so you can inspect your gas’s color and clarity for any problems.
These flowmeters are calibrated with air but can be used with other gases. If you’re using these with a gas other than air, you’ll need to calculate the flow rate by multiplying the number shown on the scale by the specific-gravity conversion factor for your gas.
Flowmeters with a flow-control knob let you open and close the valve at the inlet to adjust the flow rate within the range.
Choose a fitting material that is compatible with the gas you're running through your line. PVC fittings work with a wide range of chemicals. However, they can crack from impact or when overtightened. Brass, 303 stainless steel, and 316 stainless steel fittings resist impact better than PVC fittings.
Flowmeters with a female × male connection have internal NPT female threads and external NPT male threads.
Flowmeters with a calibration certificate traceable to NIST states that the flowmeter has passed a test for accuracy.

A case protects these flowmeters from blows and other impact as they measure the flow rate of gas. Install them in instrument panels using the fittings on the back. As your gas flows through, it pushes an indicator up the scale, showing you the flow rate. Mount these flowmeters vertically, so gas flows up from the bottom.
These flowmeters are calibrated with air but can be used with other gases. If you’re using these with a gas other than air, you’ll need to calculate the flow rate by multiplying the number shown on the scale by the specific-gravity conversion factor for your gas.
Choose a fitting material that is compatible with the gas you're running through your line.
Flowmeters with a flow-control knob let you open and close the inlet valve to adjust the flow rate within the range.
