These lights are UL listed for Class I, Division 2, Groups A, B, C, and D for environments where ignitable concentrations of acetylene, hydrogen, ethylene, and propane occur infrequently, such as in the case of an accidental spill or failure of a ventilation system. They can be hardwired to operate on any of the voltages listed. They require a metal halide bulb (sold separately). These floodlights cannot be sold to California due to local energy efficiency regulations.

Flashlights with a uniform beam are especially good for close-up tasks and inspection work.

Hazardous Location Pivoting-Head Flashlights

In addition to pivoting 210°, the light heads rotate 360° for directing light exactly where it’s needed. These flashlights are rated for use in environments where hazardous material is present. They’re also rated IP04 to withstand liquid splashed from all angles. With long-lasting, built-in LEDs, these flashlights are more efficient and generate less heat than flashlights with other light technologies. They cast a uniform beam that is especially good for close-up tasks and inspection work. Use the mounting magnet, clip, or retractable hook when you need to keep your hands free for work.

Rechargeable flashlight comes with a 120-volt AC charger that includes a 12-volt DC charging cord. This flashlight cannot be sold to Canada due to local energy efficiency regulations.

Note: Battery life is significantly reduced when flashlights are used at the high-beam light setting.

Hazardous Location Flexible Flashlights

Shine light into hard-to-reach spaces—these flashlights have a flexible arm to see around tight corners and in crevices. Shine them continuously or use the momentary light setting to shine the light only while holding down the button. Often used in wet environments, their knurled body is slip-resistant, so you can keep a firm grip on the handle. Rated IP04, they’re sealed to keep out humidity and liquid from all angles.

They’re UL listed, so they can be used in environments where flammable gases, vapors, and liquids are present. They're intrinsically safe, meaning they can’t ignite an explosion, so you can use them in hazardous environments rated NEC Class I, Division I Groups A, B, C, and D. Hazardous location environmental ratings indicate where manufacturers have included safety features in products to facilitate their safe use in hazardous environments. Before selecting a product for a hazardous location, ensure it is rated for your environment.

These flashlights have also passed ANSI/Plato FL 1, which tests their light output, beam distance, run time, and other quality markers.
