Forked Wedges
Like the claw end of a hammer around a nail, these wedges grip studs or rods from both sides to give you leverage for prying apart two joined components. They’re often used to separate ball joints and tie rod ends in suspension and steering systems. Also known as pickle forks.
For 11”, 12”, and 16” long wedges, strike the wide, flat base with a hammer until the forked end pries apart the joint.
The 36 1/2” long wedges have an internal sliding ram bar that eliminates the need for a hammer, making them safer for your hands. The ram bar also hits more forcefully and directly than a hammer. With interchangeable forks, these wedges allow you to choose the appropriate forks to use for the task at hand.

Curved Wedges
These tools are often used for lifting and aligning machinery or to separate pipe flanges. They’re also known as banana wedges.
When used with a tether (not included), wedges with a tether hole help keep tools close and prevent them from accidentally falling.
Nonsparking Wedges
These wedges are made of nonsparking materials. They're good for making quick height adjustments. Use in pairs for parallel adjustment. Also known as fox and flange wedges.
Aluminum-bronze wedges are Factory Mutual approved, nonmagnetic, and corrosion resistant. They satisfy OSHA requirements that specify nonsparking tools for locations where flammable vapors and combustible residues are present.
Warning: Do not use these tools in direct contact with acetylene.

Nonsparking Curved Wedges
This wedge is made of nonsparking beryllium copper. Curved wedges are often used for lifting and aligning machinery or to separate pipe flanges. Also known as a banana wedge.
When used with a tether (not included), wedges with a tether hole stay close and prevent accidental drops.
Warning: Do not use this tool in direct contact with acetylene.
T-Handle Flange Spreaders
Place the hooks in flange bolt holes and turn the T-handle. These spreaders must be used in pairs for even distribution of pressure.
Wrench-Driven Flange Spreaders
Insert the support rod into a flange bolt hole and turn the hex bolt to drive the spreader. These spreaders must be used in pairs for even distribution of pressure.
