Class A Fire Extinguishers
Paper, Cloth,
and Rubber
Douse fires from combustibles such as wood, paper, cloth, and rubber. Extinguisher comes empty. Fill it with water and pressurize using a compressed air or nitrogen source with a 100 psi capacity. It has a 5/16"-32 UNEF male Schrader fitting for pressurizing and a pressure gauge. Extinguisher has a safety pin to prevent accidental discharge. Please check local ordinances for inspection requirements (inspection tags sold separately).

Class B and C Fire Extinguishers
B—Liquids
and Gases
Fight flammable liquid, gas, grease, and electrical fires. The UL rating for Class B extinguishers includes a number; the higher the number, the greater the firefighting capability. Extinguishers have a safety pin to prevent accidental discharge. Please check local ordinances for inspection requirements (inspection tags sold separately).
Wet chemical (Halotron) extinguishers don’t leave a residue behind. Good for use around electrical equipment. They cannot be sold to Canada due to local chemical regulations.
Carbon dioxide extinguishers won't corrode electrical equipment and are a good alternative to Halotron extinguishers.
Dry chemical (Purple K) extinguishers are the most effective in fighting Class B fires and are commonly used in garages and fuel transfer areas.
