Mark the location of fire alarms, extinguishers, and other fire safety equipment, so you can find them quickly in an emergency. The bright colors and bold text are easy to spot, even from a distance.
For indoor use, choose between vinyl, polyethylene, and steel. Vinyl signs are less expensive than polyethylene and steel. Stick them to flat surfaces with the adhesive backing. Polyethylene signs are more durable than vinyl signs. Steel signs are more rigid than plastic signs. You can use them outdoors, but they will rust in damp and humid environments.
For outdoor use, aluminum signs are the best choice. They are more durable than plastic signs, and unlike steel, they will not corrode from moisture and extreme temperatures.

Flange-Mount Fire Equipment Signs
These signs project from the wall so the same message is viewable from multiple angles.
Two-way view signs mount perpendicular from the wall so the same message is viewable from the front and back.
Three-way view signs form a triangle when mounted, so the message is viewable from the front as well as the left and right.

Fire Hydrant Markers
Clearly label fire hydrants to show their flow rates, if they're out of service, or write your own message. Made of polyethylene plastic, these markers are durable enough that weather won’t dull their color. They’re also reflective, so they’re easy to see at night. All meet EN 12899-1:2007, a standard for sign durability and visibility.
To install, remove the hydrant cap, slide the marker on and replace the cap.
NFPA color-coded markers help you meet National Fire Protection Association standard 291, which gives guidance for color-coding fire hydrants by flow rates.

Weather-Resistant Inspection Record Tags
Tags are laminated in plastic or aluminum so they hold up outdoors.
Plastic-laminated tags resist moisture and are almost impossible to tear. Write on them using a pencil, pen, or permanent marker. Attach them using the included cable tie.
Write on aluminum-laminated tags with a pen, pencil, or sharp object to create impressions that are visible, even if the ink wears away.
Tags with a notched-loop tag holder attach to items by looping around them—no string, chain, or cable tie required. Their long handle also serves as a clasp.
