Squeeze-to-Open Bent-Nose Pliers
Squeeze the handles to open the jaws; release to snap them closed. Once closed, they stay clamped in place to leave your hands free. These pliers reach around closely spaced components and other obstructions to grip small workpieces. They have plastic grips for comfort.

High-Precision Squeeze-to-Open Tweezers
Grip small objects without applying any pressure—the tips on these tweezers open when you squeeze them and close when you release. Swiss made to tight tolerances, they have the perfect tip alignment required for work under magnification. They’re 300 series stainless steel, so they have excellent corrosion resistance but their tips are less durable than those made of 400 series stainless. Commonly known as anti-magnetic tweezers, they are typically nonmagnetic but may become slightly magnetic with use.
Tweezers with slim tips allow more visibility of your work than standard tips. Tweezers with bent or curved tips reach over and around obstructions. Those with bent tips also have square ends for placing chips and electronic components on circuit boards. Also known as SMD (surface-mount device) tweezers.
Tweezers with pointed tips firmly grip an object but may nick or mar its surface. Tweezers with round tips won’t nick or mar your object’s surface, but they don’t grip as tight as pointed tips.

Squeeze-to-Open Tweezers
Hold small parts without the need to apply pressure. Squeeze these tweezers to open the tips and release to close them.
Tweezers with offset tips keep whatever object they’re holding elevated when they’re set down on a surface. This is useful if you need both hands free.
Tweezers with round tips won’t nick or mar your object’s surface, but they don’t grip as tight as pointed tips. Tweezers with trapezoid tips give you a good grip on large, flat components. Tweezers with square tips work well if you need to grip thin sheets and labels.
Tweezers with hard fiber grip insulate against heat.
400 series stainless steel tweezers have good corrosion resistance and are mildly magnetic. Plastic-coated steel tweezers won’t mar delicate components.

Fast-Action Bar Clamps/Spreaders
Each arm slides freely for quick, one-handed positioning. They lock when the screws are tightened onto a workpiece. Reverse the arms to use these clamps as spreaders.

Inside Diameter Fixture Clamps
Secure a workpiece from the inside diameter, leaving the outside clear for machining. Machine these clamps to match the precise size and contours of your workpiece ID. Mount the clamp to your fixture with the included screws and place your workpiece over it. Turn the socket head cap screw to expand the clamp.
Top-actuated clamps tighten from the top of the clamp, so workpieces need a through hole.
Side-actuated clamps tighten from the side of the clamp, gripping parts without a through hole in the top.

Inside Diameter Fixture Clamps for Castings and Rough Parts
These clamps wedge against the workpiece ID to grip cast, unfinished, or uneven parts, leaving the outside clear for machining. Do not use these clamps on smooth or finished ID’s because they will leave a mark. The clamp’s screw tightens from the top of the clamp, so workpieces require a through hole. Thread the clamp into a tapped hole in your fixture and place your workpiece over it. Reach through the hole to turn the screw, expanding the clamp.

Expanding Pliers for Soft Tubing
Stretch the end of plastic and rubber tubing to make room for fittings with the same or slightly larger diameter. Insert the tips into tubing and squeeze the handles to open the jaws. Made of stainless steel, these pliers resist corrosion, and they can be sterilized to prevent contaminating tubing lines.
Tube Expanders
Enlarge the end of a tube to allow a second piece of the same diameter to fit inside.
Battery Terminal Spreaders/Cleaners
Also known as battery reamers, these tools spread open a battery cable clamp and clean the terminal all at once.
