Interference-Shielding Wrap-Around Sleeving
Use this shielded sleeving to protect wire and cable from signal distortion caused by nearby equipment and devices. A sewn-in ground wire dissipates any stored charge. It provides good protection against abrasion. Wrap it around wire and cable without disconnecting them; sleeving has a slit along the entire length.
Sleeving with an overlap closure wraps over itself and stays closed without an adhesive strip or other closure, so it can be removed and reused. Sleeving with an adhesive strip closure is permanently sealed when the adhesive is applied.
Sleeving with copper wire shielding is ultra-flexible, so it’s good for applications that require tight turns. Sleeving with foil shielding is for use in stationary applications. Repeated flexing will damage the foil. Sleeving with conductive cloth shielding can withstand continuous motion without tearing or fraying. It’s often used to protect wire, cable, and hose in robotics and other automated applications.
Polyester fabric sleeving has good abrasion and tear resistance. Polyurethane rubber sleeving provides excellent resistance to solvents, oil, and grease.
Flame rated VW-1 sleeving meets requirements for preventing the spread of flames based on a timed test with vertically suspended material.

Heat-Reflective Wrap-Around Sleeving
Made of aluminum with a fiberglass liner, this sleeving reflects heat away from contents and withstands temperatures up to 390° F to protect against internal and external heat sources. It resists chemicals and fluids. Wrap it around wire, cable, and hose without disconnecting them. The slit along the entire length permanently seals with an adhesive strip. It meets ASTM D350 requirements for self-extinguishing material.

Wrap-Around Sleeving for Cable and Hose Carriers
Often used in robotics and other automated applications, this sleeving adds an extra layer of protection and insulation to cable and hose carriers. It’s highly flexible and withstands continuous motion without tearing or fraying. It opens along its entire length, so there’s no need to disconnect lines or use tools for maintenance such as adding or removing cable.
PVC fabric sleeving has a chemical-resistant polyester coating, so it’s commonly used to protect wire in areas where painting or sealing takes place. A hook-and-loop closure allows access for maintenance at any point. Elastic on both ends holds sleeving in place.
Leather sleeving has excellent abrasion resistance, making it a good choice for applications where sleeving will make contact with other objects. For easy maintenance, a zipper closure lets you access the sleeving at all points. Hook-and-loop closures at either end of the sleeving secure it in place.
Kevlar aramid sleeving resists temperatures up to 1000° F. Use it to protect wire near furnaces, in welding areas, and in other extremely hot environments. This sleeving has good abrasion resistance, a zipper closure for easy maintenance, and hook-and-loop straps on each end to hold sleeving in place.

Heat-Reflective Hook-and-Loop Wrap-Around Sleeving
Insulate your wire, cable, and hose in continuous temperatures up to 400° F and easily access them. This sleeving opens anywhere along its length with a hook-and-loop strip. Unlike other types of sleeving, there’s no need to disconnect your components before installing—simply wrap this sleeving around what you want covered. Made of aluminum with a fiberglass liner, it reflects heat away from its contents.
Interference-Shielding Expandable Sleeving
Protect wire and cable from signal distortion caused by nearby equipment and devices. Expandable, this sleeving stretches to fit over items for easy installation, then tightens around its contents for a secure fit. The braided construction permits heat and moisture to dissipate. This sleeving is also used to insulate and organize wire and cable. Cut to size with sheet metal snips.
Copper sleeving is more conductive than aluminum sleeving, so it resists more signal interference.
Aluminum sleeving is about one-third the weight and reflects more heat away from its contents than copper sleeving. However, it doesn’t resist as much signal interference.
Aramid fabric sleeving combines the benefits of copper and aluminum sleeving. It’s shielded with copper foil to resist high amounts of signal interference, while the aramid fabric weighs half as much and reflects more heat than copper alone.

Heat-Reflective Sleeving
Protect wire, cable, and hose from heat radiating off hot objects, such as molten metal. Coated in aluminized PET plastic, also known as Mylar, this sleeving reflects most heat without letting it pass through, so it can handle intermittent radiant heat up to 2000° F. The liner is a blend of aramid and Kevlar that withstands continuous temperatures up to 650° F. This sleeving is stitched together with PTFE-coated silica fiberglass threads, which are just as heat resistant as the sleeving. It doesn’t stretch, so it’s best to know the exact diameter of the items you’re protecting.
Interference-Shielding Tape Sleeving
With a copper and nickel exterior and conductive lining, this sleeving shields your wire and cable from signal interference. Use it near equipment that creates signal distortion, such as transformers, generators, and motors. It’s made of polyester taffeta cloth, so it’s light and flexible. Plus, its coating resists corrosion.
You can wrap this sleeving like tape around wire and cable while they’re installed, so it’s great for emergency patches. When wrapping, make sure it overlaps itself by half its width. This ensures 98% shielding coverage to keep your components protected.
