Scissors for Wire Cutting and Stripping
Also known as electricians' shears, the back edge of the blade has a file to clean contacts.
Serrated blades grip material to prevent slipping.
The wire-stripping notch is for 19- and 23-gauge wire.
Nickel-plated blades have a coating for durability. Titanium-nitride (TiN) coated blades maintain their sharp cutting edge longer than uncoated stainless steel blades. They also have a nonstick surface. The stainless steel under these coatings is corrosion resistant, so your scissors won’t rust if the coating wears away.
Use optional handles to get more leverage for cutting. They also reduce hand fatigue when making repeated cuts.

Electrical-Insulating Scissors for Wire Cutting and Stripping
Insulated handles protect against shock from accidental contact with live electrical circuits. These scissors are tested to 1,000 volts to meet IEC 60900 and ASTM F1505. Also known as electricians' shears, they have a notch for stripping wire.

Fiber-Optic Tool Kits
Cut and strip fiber-optic cable.
2-piece kits include a wire cutter with high-carbon stainless steel blades that are strong enough to cut through optic fibers, wire insulation, and cable ties. They also include a wire stripper that has three openings for stripping different thicknesses of fiber-optic cable jackets down to the glass fiber.
11-piece kits include a variety of tools to support a wide range of applications. Along with a standard wire cutter and wire stripper, there are three additional cable strippers and a ringer to handle an array of fiber-optic cable jacket shapes, sizes, and buffer coatings. To make it easy to access your cable, there are pliers, a flashlight, and a screwdriver. Use the wipes to clean optical surfaces, bare fibers, and connector ends.
