Static-Control Chemical-Resistant Polyethylene Foam Sheets
Protect electronic components from electrostatic shocks and chemicals while safeguarding them from bumps and drops during shipping and storing. This closed-cell polyethylene foam is more chemical and puncture resistant than open-cell polyurethane foam, but is not as impact resistant. It’s also great for insulating items from external temperatures. The closed-cell construction means it won’t absorb water, air, and gases.
Conductive foam safely diverts static charges away from parts, and does not generate static electricity. Containing carbon, it keeps its conductive properties, so it’s reusable and good for long-term storing applications.

EMI/RFI Shielding Gaskets
These gaskets absorb electromagnetic interference (EMI) and radio frequency interference (RFI) to prevent inaccurate signals, flickering displays, and other electrical problems. They compress to fill gaps and complete a grounding path around doors and access panels.
Sheets work well between two flat surfaces.
Half-round gaskets work well in grooves. Use a gasket slightly thicker than the depth of the groove; it will compress to fill the gap.
Polyurethane foam gaskets are covered with either a conductive nickel/copper braided fabric or conductive aluminum foil. A nonconductive adhesive holds them in place. To protect sensitive equipment, they block at least twice as much interference as urethane foam gaskets. Cut these gaskets to length with scissors.
Gaskets that meet UL 94 V-0 self-extinguish within 10 seconds if they catch fire and won’t spread the fire by dripping.

Static-Control Large-Diameter Soft Rubber Tubing for Dry Food

Conductive material embedded in the walls, along with a metal strip, lets this tubing divert static buildup away from sensitive equipment when conveying dry materials such as flour, salt, and sugar. Push the metal strip into each end of the tubing before connecting to metal equipment such as housings and chutes. Tubing has a diameter of 4" or larger, so it has the girth to handle bulk food processing applications. Tubing is gum rubber with a neoprene rubber cover for excellent abrasion and tear resistance. It is made of FDA listed materials. Free of plasticizers like DEHP, it won’t impart tastes or odors to the materials passing through it. Tubing is opaque, so you cannot see inside the line to monitor flow. It is semi-flexible, so it is good for gradual bends.
Tubing connects to fittings with a worm-drive clamp (sold separately).

Clean Room Static-Control Mats
Protect sensitive clean room electronics from harmful static charges. Commonly used in pharmaceutical and laboratory Fed. Std. Class 100 and ISO Class 5 clean rooms, these mats release a low number of particles into the air. These mats also are carbon-filled, so they are conductive, drawing static away from shoes and other sources. Unlike other conductive mats that require a grounding cord, these mats are solid rubber so static passes through them into the grounded floor.
These mats are ergonomic, which means they minimize strain and fatigue as you stand. They have tapered edges that won’t curl up and become a tripping hazard. Made of Buna-N rubber, they resist oil, grease, and other liquid spills.
Style A mats have a raised surface that creates better cushioning and traction than Style B.
The low-profile surface of Style B makes it easier to roll carts and trolleys across them than Style A.
