Clean Room Grease
Highly pure and with no additives to contaminate sensitive environments, use this grease in clean rooms and electronic assembly workstations. It is nonconductive, chemically inert, and can withstand extreme temperature swings. This long-lasting grease also has an indefinite shelf life.
NLGI viscosity grade is a rating of a grease's consistency. NLGI 2 is about the consistency of peanut butter.
Grease lubricates most efficiently within the listed temperature range. Nonmelting grease can be used at temperatures above the maximum temperature briefly, but then will break down more quickly.

Electrical-Insulating Grease
Also known as dielectric grease, use insulating grease to lubricate and protect electrical systems. It resists water and corrosion. This grease can be used on most rubber and plastic.
NLGI viscosity grade is a rating of a grease's consistency. NLGI 1 is about the consistency of tomato paste. NLGI 2 is about the consistency of peanut butter. NLGI 3 is about the consistency of vegetable shortening.
Dielectric strength measures the maximum voltage a grease can withstand without losing its insulating properties. The higher the dielectric strength, the better its quality as an insulator.
Grease lubricates most efficiently below the maximum temperature. Nonmelting grease can be used at temperatures above the maximum temperature briefly, but then will break down more quickly.
Molykote 5 Compound is for use on insulators, bushings, and high-current switches.

Food Industry Electrical-Insulating Grease
Use this grease in areas where there is the possibility of contact with food. Also known as dielectric grease, it lubricates and protects electrical systems. It resists water and corrosion. This grease can be used on most rubber and plastic.
NLGI viscosity grade is a rating of a grease's consistency. NLGI 1 is about the consistency of tomato paste. NLGI 2 is about the consistency of peanut butter. Dielectric strength measures the maximum voltage a grease can withstand without losing its insulating properties. The higher the dielectric strength, the better its quality as an insulator.
Grease that is NSF Registered H1 and grease that meets FDA Compliant 21 CFR 178.3570 are rated for incidental contact with food. Grease that meets NSF/ANSI 51 and FDA Compliant 21 CFR 175.300 are rated for direct contact with food. Grease that meets NSF/ANSI 61 is certified for use with components that come into contact with drinking water.
Grease lubricates most efficiently below the maximum temperature. Nonmelting grease can be used at temperatures above the maximum temperature briefly, but then will break down more quickly.
DuPont Molykote 4 Electrical Insulating Compound also acts as a moisture barrier.

Grease for Electrical Contacts
Lubricate, clean, deoxidize, and prevent corrosion on electrical contacts to improve their performance.
NLGI viscosity grade is a rating of a grease's consistency. NLGI 2 is about the consistency of peanut butter.
Grease with quartz has quartz particles to assist oxide breakup. Grease with copper has copper particles to assist oxidize breakup and resist abrasion on surfaces that require conductivity. Grease with aluminum is for use on aluminum parts that won’t come in contact with each other. Grease with graphite has graphite particles to absorb and dissipate heat. Grease with only deoxidizer provides the best lubrication and is for use on clean surfaces.
Grease lubricates most efficiently within the listed temperature range. Melting temperature is the point at which grease will fail and run out of equipment, leaving it to run dry.

Penetrating Lubricants for Electrical Applications
Protect electrical components—these lubricants insulate and block moisture, preventing electrical malfunctions. They cut through dirt, grease, and rust to clean connections and relays, leaving behind a thin film for long-lasting protection.
Dielectric strength measures the maximum voltage a lubricant can withstand without losing its insulating properties. The higher the dielectric strength, the better its quality as an insulator.
These lubricants cannot be sold outside of the United States due to product labeling requirements.

Chemical-Resistant Slippery PTFE Powder
- Color: White
- Temperature Range: -300° to 500° F
- For Use On: Carriages, Multipurpose, Slides, Ways, Track, O-Rings, Seals, Chutes, Guide Rails, Locks
- For Use Outdoors: Yes
Often used in assemblies that rub against each other, this powder blends into plastic, rubber, composites, and lubricants to keep them from sticking. Because it is slippery, it decreases wear and dissipates heat caused by friction—it will not break down in extreme temperatures. It repels water, which keeps rust, dust, and debris from building up and causing abrasion between moving parts. This powder won’t react to most corrosive chemicals, but it will break down when exposed to alkali metal.
