Aluminum Corrosion-Resistant Washdown Enclosures
Aluminum enclosures are a lightweight yet durable alternative to stainless steel. These withstand corrosive, wet, and oily environments. They are rated NEMA 4X and 13 for protection from dirt, washdowns, corrosion, and oil/coolant spraying.

Horizontal-Mount Weather-Resistant Enclosures
Mounted horizontally, such as on machinery or rooftops, these enclosures protect wiring and other electrical components from rain, snow, and ice thanks to their overhanging top. They’re rated NEMA 3R, so they’re approved for keeping out dirt, falling liquids, and light splashes. However, if you install them vertically, they only have a NEMA 1 rating, which means they only keep out dirt. Mount them using the included feet to create separation from pooling water—the feet add one inch of clearance.
