Smooth-Edge Electric Sheet Metal Cutters
Straight, Right
Curves, Left Curves
A double blade creates two cuts and a 7/32" wide waste strip that peels back, leaving two smooth edges with little distortion. These cutters are also known as slotting shears. To start cuts in the center of material, drill a starting hole.

Sheet Metal Cutter Drill Attachments
Straight, Right
Curves, Left Curves
Convert your drill into a sheet metal cutter to make quick, low-effort cuts without a separate power tool. Insert the bit on these attachments into your chuck to power the jaws, then slide the telescoping clamp over the drill body to hold them in place. They’re quick to install and remove, so you can switch between cutting and drilling. These attachments have a rotating collar that can turn the cutting head 360° to make cuts at any angle.
Also known as scissor-blade shears, these attachments have a bottom blade that stays in place while the upper blade moves up and down, making clean cuts without deforming edges. If your tool runs at multiple speeds, the jaws do too. Choose a slow speed for curves and corners, or a fast speed for quick, straight cuts. To extend the life of the blades, adjust the clearance between the cutting jaws to suit the thickness of the material you’re cutting.
Made from lightweight aluminum and plastic, these attachments won’t weigh down your tool, so you can make one-handed cuts. Both the width and length of the clamp are adjustable, so they can fit around most corded or cordless drills, including impact drivers. Tighten onto your drill with a thumb screw. They also include spacers for extending the clamp to fit over large drills.
