    Tapping Drill Bits

    Drill and thread holes with the same bit. The tap section has a plug chamfer with 3-5 chamfered threads for through holes and blind holes.

    Spiral Flute

    Add internal threads to pipe and conduit when installing new runs or expanding an existing system. Wear and heat resistant, these bits are versatile for use on a range of materials.
    Uncoated—The most economical option, uncoated bits perform best when used on low-carbon steel and aluminum. Polished to reduce friction, they're also known as bright finish bits.
    Spiral Flute—Pull chips out of the hole to prevent buildup when tapping.
    Square Shank—Use in a tap holder for drill presses and milling machines.
