The parabolic spiral flutes lift chips out of the hole, reducing clogging and improving coolant flow. For the highest accuracy and longest tool life, these solid-carbide bits are harder, stronger, and more wear resistant than high-speed steel, cobalt steel, and carbide-tipped bits. They retain a sharp, hard edge at high temperatures for the best performance on hard and abrasive material. These bits require rigid toolholding to prevent breakage and should not be used in hand-held drilling. All are jobbers’ length so they have the rigidity and length required for most applications.

With a drill bit point to drive into the workpiece, these taps can drill and tap holes in a single step. A 1/4" hex shank connects them directly to tools such as drills and power screwdrivers. They're made of high-speed steel and are for use on most metal and plastic.

Their spiral flutes keep chips clear by drawing them back toward the tap and out of the hole. All have a plug chamfer with 3-5 chamfered cutting threads, so they're suitable for start-to-finish tapping. Titanium Nitride (TiN) coated taps resist heat and wear better than uncoated taps, letting them last up to twice as long.
