CPVC Pipe Fittings for Hot Water
Made of CPVC, these fittings can handle high temperatures. They have thick, strong walls to handle heavy duty industrial plumbing and water supply applications, such as water processing and waste water treatment. They also have good corrosion resistance. These fittings are comparable to Corzan. Some meet ASTM D1784 specifications and testing requirements for material quality.
Fittings for drinking water meet NSF/ANSI Standard 61.
Schedule 80 fittings have thick, strong walls for heavy duty, industrial applications.
Warning: Never use plastic pipe fittings and pipe with compressed air or gas.
Sealants cannot be sold to Colorado, Connecticut, District of Columbia, Delaware, Illinois, Indiana, Massachusetts, Maryland, Maine, Michigan, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Northern Virginia, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, or Utah due to local regulatory limits on VOCs (Volatile Organic Compounds).

To prevent leaks in threaded connections, apply a non-hardening, plastic-compatible sealant to the male threads. Tape or sealants with PTFE are not recommended for plastic-to-plastic threaded connections. When making a threaded connection be careful not to overtighten the threads. To prevent cracks and leaks, finger tighten the fitting, then wrench-tighten one to two turns.

Gravity-Flow Polypropylene Pipe Fittings for Corrosive Chemical Waste
- For Use With: Deionized Water, Hydrochloric Acid, Oil, Phosphoric Acid, Salt Water, Solvents
- Maximum Temperature: 220° F
- Specifications Met: ASTM D4101, ASTM D635, ASTM F1412, UL 94 V-2
- Compatible with Gravity-Flow Polypropylene Pipe for Corrosive Chemical Waste
Made of polypropylene, these gravity-flow fittings withstand organic solvents, such as acetone, that would dissolve CPVC pipe. They also stand up to highly corrosive acids, such as hydrochloric acid, and alkalies. All meet UL and ASTM standards for flame retardance and self-extinguishment in the case of fire. They also meet strict ASTM specifications and testing requirements for material quality and product dimensions. They’re compatible with Orion Blueline No-Hub and Orion Rionfuse chemical waste pipe and pipe fittings.
Either a clamp connector or electrofusion connector is required to connect grooved ends on adapters to pipe or to another fitting with a grooved end. Clamp connectors can be easily taken apart as needed for maintenance. Grooving tools (sold separately) prepare ungrooved ends for clamping. Electrofusion connectors create a stronger, more permanent connection than clamp connectors. Use electrofusion tools (sold separately) to weld these fittings in place.
Adapters with a threaded pipe end connect and disconnect easily on that side, no clamp or welding required. Thread sealant tape (sold separately) prevents leaks in threaded connections. To prevent overtightening that could cause cracks and leaks, first finger-tighten fittings, then turn once or twice with a wrench.
Tees have an offset branch so your line can drain. Also known as sanitary and eccentric tees, they’re often used where cleaning and inspections are frequent.
Fittings that swivel until tightened connect an NPT-threaded sink drain to a 270° bend fitting. They’re also known as sink drain tailpieces. They rotate for easy installation and have a quick-access nut that lets you perform maintenance without removing the fitting from your line. Cut them to length.
270° bend connectors are also known as P-traps. Union connectors separate into three pieces for easy access to your line.
Adapters for glass pipe connect to older glass piping systems with a bead-to-bead clamp (not included).
Add a neutralization tank (sold separately) under your sink and fill it with limestone to safely discharge acidic waste.

Gravity-Flow Polypropylene Pipe for Corrosive Chemical Waste
Made of polypropylene, this gravity-flow pipe stands up to tough organic solvents, such as acetone, that would dissolve CPVC pipe. You can also use it for lines with highly corrosive acids, such as hydrochloric acid, and alkalies. This pipe meets strict ASTM specifications and testing requirements for material quality and product dimensions. It also meets ASTM and UL flammability standards. This pipe is known as schedule 40 pipe.
Connect clamp-on fittings to the grooved-ends of this pipe when you need frequent access to your line. If you need to trim down the pipe, you'll need a grooving tool (sold separately) to add a groove for your fitting. For a permanent connection, fuse socket-connect fittings on with an electrofusion tool (sold separately).

UV-Resistant Polypropylene Pipe Fittings for Chemicals
Made of polypropylene, these fittings won’t deteriorate when exposed to the damaging effects of ultraviolet light and are suitable to use outdoors. They have the chemical resistance to withstand a wide variety of acids, solvents, and other harsh substances. Apply a non-hardening, plastic-compatible sealant to the male threads to prevent leaks. Tape or sealants with PTFE are not recommended for plastic-to-plastic threaded connections. When making a threaded connection be careful not to overtighten the threads. To prevent cracks and leaks, finger tighten the fitting, then wrench-tighten one to two turns.
Warning: Never use plastic pipe fittings and pipe with compressed air or gas.

High-Temperature PTFE Pipe Fittings for Chemicals
Extreme temperatures are no problem for these fittings—they’re made of PTFE, so they can withstand a wider temperature range than any of our other plastic pipe fittings for chemicals. They have the chemical resistance to stand up to acid and solvents. Fittings have thick, Schedule 80 walls for heavy duty industrial applications. The material won’t leach contaminates into the line, so these fittings are commonly used in high-purity processes, such as semiconductor and clean room applications. They have a super-smooth interior for unrestricted flow. Fittings meet ASTM D1710 specifications and testing requirements for material quality.
Warning: Never use plastic pipe fittings and pipe with compressed air or gas.
Sealants cannot be sold to Colorado, Connecticut, District of Columbia, Delaware, Illinois, Indiana, Massachusetts, Maryland, Maine, Michigan, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Northern Virginia, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, or Utah due to local VOC (Volatile Organic Compounds) regulations.
