Add a pair of same-size threads to sheet metal while only welding once. These weld nuts are great when you need to install screws in two different, close-by locations. You can also use them to add the strength of two joints with a single nut. A slim base and a short barrel are ideal for use in tight spaces, such as channels, and in low-clearance areas. These weld nuts stand up to high torque and pull force better than rivet and press-fit nuts, making them the strongest way to add permanent threads to flat sheet metal. Made of plain steel, they weld to uncoated steel with minimal preparation. You can also weld them onto thick metal surfaces.
