Multidirectional Ball-Style Grab Latches
Latch in several different directions—these latches either have spring-loaded balls or a ball-shaped strike plate.
Latches with a force adjustment screw allow adjustments to the force needed to open and close the latches.
Style B include three spacers for the strike plate to accommodate different latching distances.
Brass latches have good corrosion resistance and are nonmagnetic. Plastic latches have a ball-shaped strike plate for latching in several different orientations. Zinc latches have good corrosion resistance. 316 stainless steel latches have excellent corrosion resistance. 17-4 PH stainless steel latches are stronger than 316 stainless steel latches and have excellent corrosion resistance.

Latch with Force
Adjustment Screw
Grab latches work well on lightweight doors. They have a catch that grabs and holds a ball, latching screw, or strike plate to keep doors shut. Rail-to-rail grab latches require a gap between the two rails for doors to close properly. Rail-to-panel grab latches have a ball that threads into a tapped hole on the panel.
Grab latches with left, right, and front grab direction work on sliding or swinging doors when the ball or strike plate is clipped into the front or side of the latch. Those with back grab direction can also be mounted on the inside or outside of your door. Those with a force adjustment screw let you control how hard it is to open and close the latch.
