Key-Controlled Door Alarms
Arm and disarm these alarms with a key. They sound an alarm when a door is opened without authorization and the alarm and magnetic contact are separated. All require a mortise lock cylinder (sold separately) for operation.
Mount an optional rim lock cylinder (not included) on the opposite side of the door to arm and disarm these alarms from the outside.

Key-Controlled Door Alarms with Strobe Light
Attract more attention with a strobe light as well as an audible alarm. Arm and disarm these alarms with a key. They sound an alarm and emit short, intense bursts of light when a door is opened without authorization and the alarm and magnetic contact are separated. All require a mortise lock cylinder (sold separately) for operation.
Mount an optional rim lock cylinder (not included) on the opposite side of the door to arm and disarm these alarms from the outside.
Keypad-Controlled Door Alarms
Arm and disarm these alarms with a programmable code. They sound an alarm when a door is opened without authorization and the alarm and magnetic contact are separated.

Magnetic-Contact Door Chimes

Motion-Sensing Door Chimes
A chime announces when someone passes through the infrared light beam and a counter keeps track of each entrance and exit. Mount the transmitter and beam reflector between 2 and 20 feet apart. The chime's volume is adjustable up to 85 dB. It cannot be sold to California due to local energy efficiency regulations.
Additional chimes (sold separately) can be added to the transmitter.

Alarmed Touch Bars for Emergency Exits
An alarm sounds when these touch bars are pushed to open doors. Often used on emergency exits, they require a lock cylinder (sold separately) to arm and disarm the alarm. You can mount an additional lock cylinder on the exterior of the door to use as a door lock.
Touch bars have a latch that automatically locks the door when it is closed, as well as a bolt that locks when the alarm is armed. Latch bolt projection is the length the latch bolt extends from the door's edge.
Touch bar for outdoor use is waterproof and can be used in washdown areas.

Self-Locking Alarmed Push Levers for Emergency Exit Doors

Magnetic Contact Alarm Switches
Wire contacts to an alarm system to alert when doors or windows are opened. Mount the magnet to the door or window and mount the switch to the frame. The alarm will activate when the magnet is pulled away by the opening door or window.
SPDT switches connect to an alarm system and to another device, such as a motion detector.

Smart Magnetic Contact Alarm Switches
Use a free, downloadable app with these switches to automate alarms in your facility, such as sounding a buzzer if a trailer door is opened after a certain time. These switches link to your Wi-Fi network and push notifications to your smartphone. They have two parts: a magnet and a sensor. Mount each part to a surface—for instance, the magnet to a door and the sensor to the door frame—and the switch will send a signal when the magnet is pulled away.

Tamper-Resistant Magnetic Contact Alarm Switches
Prevent unauthorized use of doors or windows with a combination of coded magnets and contacts that wire to an alarm system. The coded magnets mean they can’t be bypassed with regular magnets. These switches actuate when the magnet comes within sensing distance of the switch and reset when the magnet moves away. Mount the magnet to your door or window and the switch to the frame. Connect the switch contacts to an alarm system, which will trigger when the magnet is pulled away as your door or window is opened.
Flush-mount switches are designed to mount against the door jam. They have a cord grip to reduce strain on your cord.
Surface-mount switches mount on the surface of your door. Those with a 1/2 conduit connection are ready to directly attach to your conduit.
